Sometimes I'm just missing the feeling I had when I first watched these epsiodes. Heroes had potential of becoming the best sci-fi drama of all other sci-fi the series...
I am on mid season 3 right now. Finished season 1 three weeks ago and even I feel nostalgia towards it. Just the mystery and philosophy of season 1 was perfect. I actually am enjoying the later seasons, but almost as if I were watching a different show. Season 2 and 3 feel like a spin-off. Not as good as 1 absolutely, but I’m still enjoying watching them.

Peter is one of my favorite characters in all of fiction. It's a shame what they did to him in the later seasons and that the show took such a bad turn. Love this scene.
Peter is my favorite hero ever, he looks so humble and so unaware of what he can do, Sylar is a cold blood killer with no regrets that is simply overpowered, but at the same time Peter can stop him even though he is kind of less prepared for it than Sylar is, and I love this feeling. Season 1 is amazing!
It really is a shame the writers strike happened during the writing for season 2. So much potential this show had and honestly could've had a good reboot for season 4 after how season 3 ended

Sylar’s Power required him to be sociopathic, unemotional, and uncaring, in order to understand everything, where as Peter’s original power required him to feel the emotions of others, to remember them, to be over emotional: In other words, their powers may be similar and OP, but the requirements to use them are the opposite from each other.

@@chriscripplercruz1833 That ruined it for me too. Had they given them back later, it would have been redeeming, but all he got was that dumb "Ability Replication" where he could only hold one power at a time
@@ilphi08 They could have at least made him powerless and he could have gone back to being a watchmaker. Maybe rediscovered them and come back in the future.
This show was authentic. Sad that all good things must come to an end one day or another.

Just put disc #1 in the trusty old DVD player. Haven't watched the series in years. Forgot how much I loved this show! Good distraction from pandemic isolation. If I have to watch one more commercial on regular tv, I might go crazy. (Hiro just stopped time, Claire just ran into the fire!!) Good stuff! 😎

PETER WAS SO F’n OP THEY HAD TO NERF HIM. They should’ve had Gabriel and their dad join forces which would’ve been hella doubt and they would’ve been unstoppable that way they wouldn’t have to nerf Peter.

I miss Season 1 of Heroes for the actors and the writing. The writing was wovenly tight. I just wish there wasnt that Writers Strike in Season 2, it crashed that season halfway. Then they tried, they really did, to pick up all the pieces in S3.....oh well.

I love how with Precogs Its prob the most teachable power on the show. Atleast as far as im aware. In theory anyone can use anyone elses power but without a catalyst like peters or sylers powers Its near impossible. Except this one as we have seen it shared and used by other evoes.

Yeah they tried that, it was even worse. The showrunner clearly was not the talent behind season 1.

I liked the idea of ppl using powers, but when they needed a boost of some kind in order to use those powers. Like how Isaac had to get high with drugs in order to draw future. Sadly they didn't expand this idea. It would be interesting if every character had to do something to themselves in order to awaken the power every time.
They later learned that he didn’t really need the drugs. He just needed to learn how to control his powers without the drugs, which he did.

这么多年过去了，即使我重看第一季到第四季，这第一季始终还是我的最爱，经典！可惜最后整个剧情变调了，出现太多角色，编剧也无法好好处理。
