- We’re doing a sequel. I’m honestly shocked that the original Weiss video I did got really popular. To celebrate the completion of Volume 9 here’s a sequel with most of my favorite Weiss moments.

Yet still she mourns the Kingdom of Atlas (and no one seems to help her with it)
@@danielguinea2971 And she hasn't even found out about her father's death yet. I mean, not that anyone cared about him, it's just a detail. Maybe there will be more depth in Weiss' relationship with Winter next season.
Weiss truely was the comic relief of the group in Volume 9, taking the role from Ruby for a while

Her body language in this scene is peak Weiss. She's grown so much as a person, that confidence and strong sense of self has been earned with blood, sweat and tears. Always loved her but this season has been amazing for Weiss, we got fed so good

I did not like her in the beginning but she has grown so much as a character and really grown on me. She's really helped carry season 9.

@@Vassilinia She's been slowly growing attraction towards Jaune since they rejoined back in Mistral.
The first real hint that she began seeing a interest in Jaune is after they had dinner and Jaune is being teased by Yang with puns.
Pay attention to Weiss facial behavior, especially her eyes when Yang cracks the pun.
Also I think saving her life from the brink of literal death via Jaune later would kinda put a hell of a lot of fuel in that interest.
Her recent clothing appearance heavily looks inspired by Sabers clothing from FATE night series.
Saber herself which was supposed to be King Arthur was a knight.
Jaune's own clothing and attire has improved when in Atlas, and its likely will see him again change to something starting to approach Weiss. especially if she takes a personal interest in his clothing styles. She knows what he looks like older you think she's going to lose a opportunity to lose what literally was the hero knight of her childhood? :P

Weiss really make this volume 100% better
I've loved weiss this season come a long way from that spoiled brat back in vol 1
She is the best since season 1. One of the few characters, who are constantly reevaluating themselves and improving themselves as a person, not just their fighting style.
If you watch the whole series again specifically paying attention to this, notice how she is always the first one to pick up people's harships and just the meanings in situations and usually tries to give a helpful push.
Even just in this video, she is the only one who realizes why Ruby is upset and she is the first one who comforts Jaune. It's pretty much always been like that under her usual sass. On top of this she has actual character development each season, including this, the creators just love to tuck it in the background somewhat behind the main themes. Her being upset about her home, finding it hard to tell Ruby what happened with penny, or how they always leave places in ruins or how they should be more appriciative of each other is much better character development if you ask me, than whatever contrieved bs they tried to pull with Ruby this season. Before she just goes "Nah it's fine" in the last episode.
A naturally excellent young lady who only needed a lesson in Noblesse Oblige to become truly great. That’s Weiss.
She is the only one with a consistently good cnaracter arc.

Ok the expressive animation for Weiss is so adorable here, especially in her "I'm losing it with this place" moments.
weiss has always been my favorite... even back in vol 1 when she was such a brat. seeing her in vol 9 makes me feel like a proud parent. she's come so far 🤍
They've made her SUCH a great character. All four of them are gold at this point. That's something I don't think I could've said seeing early Weiss but her development was a major investment that paid off. When she said, "I'm gonna be the best teammate, you will ever have." She really trying to make that a reality. I don't just mean skill but overall teamwork etc.

I haven’t fully RWBY just yet so I can’t make a list of my most favorite or least favorite characters just yet but the ones who I love the most are Tai Ren at the top because he is my opinion “Best Boy”, Jeanne Arc right next to him as “Secondary Best Boy” and Nora and Pyrra right behind them too.
I also love Penny and Oscar too.

But I love Uncle Qrow-Definitely World’s Best Uncle in My Book.
He has a lot of depth to me due to how he “interprets” his semblance and the way he acts like a “pervert” but doesn’t try to harass any women he meets which to me makes him similar to Kagura from BlazBlue and Miroku from Inuyasha but doesn’t sexually harass them in any either-Be it either physically or verbally(Toying with Winter Schee not withstanding). and the way he tries to give up drinking really hits hard with me-It’s a great interpretation of an old alcoholic trying to give drinking but struggles with it as he struggles but pulls through and deny temptation.
And the measures he goes through to protect his nieces really makes him a good person as heart.
He is definitely one of the better adult characters in this show.
But with all that out of the way I still have the ladder half of it to watch but I am not feeling the best right now due to just getting back from “dental surgery” yesterday and I have to take it easy for the time being.

I love that Weiss took her pain and actually became a leader, not the way she wanted but the way she was meant to be. Too bad that we might not see anymore of that outstanding character development. I still have hope though.
Volume 9 had so many feels and I loved it
Look at my girl summoning all those glyphs I'm so proud of her progress. Winter would be proud!
Not to mention how fast she can summon familiars now too. Her and Juan have definitely had the most progression with their combat skills throughout the series.
That's all she does now and days. She just uses her sword like a wand rather than an actual sword. I just wish she wouldn't relay too much on her summoning.....

Weiss has truly grown, since volume 1, She was once a girl who was a brat and now a young woman who learned her mistakes and will continue to grow.
Huh. I never noticed... every time Ruby seems to be going through something they somehow gloss over it, or give it a quick minute of recognition then continue on. No wonder she broke.
Yep, when in volume 2 they were quick to notice Blake not being herself and did everything they could to help her out.
I think they were focusing on getting back to Remnant and unintentionally ignored Ruby's mentality

@@williambragg6171 I don't think it was malicious; it seems that they were so busy trying to get themselves out of trouble and navigate the Ever After that they probably thought that Ruby would tell them about it if it was important enough.
