yes and so remembered here in the UK l have some great framed photos of 30s actresses from long ago including 2 of Jean which are remarkable. God bless you Jean for being such a joy to watch on screen especially in Dinner at eight xxxxxxxx
Thank you Terry. When I see Jean Harlow, knowing how young she was when she died, just makes me feel emotional and this is reflected in the video. This may be the 'Finale' tribute but it certainly won't be the last!
Thank you for sharing those poignant moments with us. My video tributes to Jean are all quite sad, reflecting her early death which is still being felt amongst her fans today! BAZ
Jean Harlow was a beautiful woman, brilliant and an excellent actress. She passed away so young and suddenly. She had a sarcastic mood in her characters. She was incredible. Very adorable. If she hadn't passed away, she would have been and would play Scarlett O'Hara in "...Gone With the Wind". (You can search without exaggeration on my part) There are pictures of the last months of her life, in which she appears with the book in her arms. And certainly, without a doubt. For acting with Clark Gable in six films, she would be chosen to play Scarlett O'Hara in "...Gone With the Wind". Unfortunately, she was very ill, and passed away with kidney problems. And, while she lasted and acted, she did her role as an actress, versatile, charming and always, always, even sick, with a charming smile on her face. Beautiful and simple tribute to you. Rest In Peace, Jean Harlow!!! 🌹🌹🙏🏻😞🌹🌹
Harlow sent my mom an autographed photo of herself addressed to my mom. I love that photo. I’m obsessed with Jean Harlow and William Powell. What a dirty trick life played on them both. If you could will someone to life I would be on it.
At the time of her death, she was successfully transitioning from the sassy, wisecracking platinum blonde to a more refined sophisticated lady. Who knows how much she would have grown as a actress if she didn't die suddenly at 26 years old.
Like Rudolph Valentine both loved by millions so young when they died .but their send of was beautiful and as for jean she will never be forgotten and known as Baby .rest in peace to her Amen 🙏🕊🕊🕊🕊😳🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹💐💐💐💐🙏
bettiep, how did you manage to get Forest Lawn to allow you to visit her crypt? FL is funny about stars' graves being visited. They rarely let fans do that, & Harlow's is a private area. A few fans are allowed to, though.
Never understood the eyebrows. It was the fashion at the time , I suppose. Loved the mole, but not ALWAYS in the same place. This woman was fantastic nonetheless. Gable once said at her passing that she didn't care if she was famous, she just wanted to be LOVED. Well Miss Carpenter. We love you. Oh, excuse me, I mean Miss Harlow. Our Baby.
Beautiful tribute to a very talented young woman who was gone way to soon..🌹💖 🎥
Beautiful tribute! One of my most favorite ones! Thank you!
