I thought that this episode was leading to Rob and Laura getting the model house - the one without the rock, but then that wouldn't explain the annual check to Jerry. But it would explain the disappearance of the rock in later episodes, as we never saw Jerry's and Millie's basement in the series. Story Consultant Carl Reiner dropped the ball on that one, but then again he was also the Producer, Series Creator, sometimes Writer and sometimes Cast Member. That's a lot of balls to keep track of.
Funny thing, they bought the house, but we never saw the boulder again. In fact, the basement of the house they always used for the show was nicely fitted with a full-size pool table, and an open staircase that was much more attractive than the one in this episode.
Also they said one closet and master room and there is two and the garage we have seen a few times and it’s a large one. Just some small discrepancies but still a great show.
I wouldn't want a house with a rock in it like that, either. I lived in a ranch style house some years ago that resembled the house the Petrys always had on this show. Must be nice to have so many clothes it requires 2 closets.
Betty Rubble: You know, Barney, life is funny. One minute people are your best friends, and the next you're fantasizing they're being ripped apart by a pack of rabid wolves.
I just find it ridiculous that the real estate guy upped the price on them when in reality, the longer a house sits on the market, it goes down in value as well as the the price. Just like a brand new car once it's been driven off the lot. The guy was totally trying to scam them. I totally would have spoken my mind if I was there. I might have commented this on another video haha, but it just bugs the crap outta me when ppl try to scam and con others
The scene on the phone was so well done I lol'd.
What excellent acting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That rock would be so trendy right now for a den or even a living room.
Yup. Climbing wall!
😂😂😂 so true!!!!
Man showing them the basement plays on the original Adams family he play a Russian
Uncle fester playd in movie the kid 1921 with Charly Chaplin he was the little boy
That rock suddenly disappeared in later shows, Rob's pool table was in the basement!
I guess some bulldozing took place that didn't make it into the show 😂😂😂
@@ColleenD78 Thats funny!
I was just thinking the same thing!!
The rock is in Jerry basement hence why Rob has to pay Jerry

Stanley Adams as the real estate agent. He was in the Star Trek episode "The Trouble With Tribbles" as Cyrano Jones, the trader.
Wellll. actually that was Cyrano's great great great great Grandfather. As you can tell, wheelin and dealin runs in the family
And I recently looked at a house built around a tree and the realtor said ‘Look at it as a conversation piece’
Or a conservation piece.
Your very own ROCK!!! 😂😂😂 Classic!
That realtor was sus from the beginning! He's the reason Tribbles invaded the Enterprise 😅😅
That rock would be fun to make decorative 😊

Yeah, remember when Rob played pool in the basement with Buddy's brother? They could have shown the rock!
Also they said one closet and master room and there is two and the garage we have seen a few times and it’s a large one. Just some small discrepancies but still a great show.
That's the point of the $37.50 per month. A Duplicate house next door, without a,rock. Helpers took the house with the rock!
@@BobWestWA8YCD
@@BobWestWA8YCDat the end of the show Rob says he took the rock house and it floods Jerry's house. That's what the money is for.

Waikiki Acres On Aloha Drive! 🤣
Increasing the price. Bait and switch its called.
ROCK HUDSON PROBABLY WOULD HAVE WANTED IT 🤣💐
I know it was a lame joke but I seriously laughed out loud to this remark 😂😂😂😂😂

Gazoo refers to Fred and Barney as "dum-dums" and constantly causes problems for them.

The real estate agent says Mr PEEtrie, and 5 seconds later says Mrs PEHtrie.
one teensy problem: in the episode where Buddy's brother was a pool shark and they played pool down in the basement, there was NO ROCK.
LOL. 27990 dollars for a house in the NYC area!!!!!!😊
I just find it ridiculous that the real estate guy upped the price on them when in reality, the longer a house sits on the market, it goes down in value as well as the the price.

Laura is gorgeous when she cries and when she is upset
????
🤨
Not so much…
NOBODY is "gorgeous" when they cry. Nobody. "Millie" is an excellent example; already a homely woman, she was downright ugly when she 'cried.'!
@@jb6712 I know, and you're SOOOOOOO cute, right
(you just wana be thankful other aren't as ignorant as you)
The house was $27,500 with $200 deposit.
You can hardly get a decent car for that nowadays... Let alone a house!
Welcome to 1956. Today that house would be over a million dollars.
Actually 27,500 was actually expensive for the 1960s
I wish we could buy a house at that price now!
And the interest rate was what?
Why was $300 mentioned?
$27,990.00!!!
