The only video you need for a long beard look 👍🏻 mine is probably about 4 inches shorter than yours and I’ve been trimming just the very bottom to keep it neater and I’m now just growing the sides out until the side length reaches the bottom of my beard. So far it’s taken me a year just to get the sides to stay down on their own but now they are it’s just a matter of time and patience to get me there. It is tough though. You have to be prepared for it to look bad for a while. Which is very hard to do. Great video 👍🏻
yes, I tell ppl "it's not long enough, it will get softer and lay down. Give it time. I apply hair conditioner and leave it in. Oh, my, so much of what I've told ppl. "Let it go". Best line I said to my wife before we married, "I let my beard have it's way with me". She nearly spit her coffee when she read that message.
I'm watching this because I'm 3 months into my grow and I wanna stay on the right track. Thing is I'm noticing big beard guys are better human beings overall. They seem kind, funny, smart, crazy in a good way, really crazy in a good way, mellow, level headed and deep all at once. Does the longer your beard grows the better man you become? Honest sincere question because to me there definitely seems to be a correlation between beard length and human male awesomeness!!!

Hi Mr. Bruno, around 3 years ago you were my inspiration to start growing my beard, I been meticulously taking care of my beard using my favorite oil and beard balm with good results. Just I would like get good recommendations from you about what kind of vitamins I can use to fortify and grow my beard more than I have it right now. Regards.
So my question is???? And I think I know the answer is to just leave it alone but wanted to make sure. I have about five inches so far, but my neck hair grows straight up into what’s growing down, and it gets all bushy and tangled and a mess, I have to comb it out a few times a day, I use oils and a beard butter, wash it with a beard shampoo once or twice a week, and all and all it’s doing good, but the lower hairs are my neck are being buggers, should I have those off? Or just keep the going for the gravity pull, I have watched a lot of videos and been reading a lot about neck hair and getting a lot of mixed messages.
Hi my fiancee has been growing out his beard and thanks to your videos I know not to trim. But meanwhile he has a super curly beard and his sideburns stick out like 2 inches. It pretty much parts itself in the middle and the ends are all wispy. He looks like he was living in the woods or something. Is there anything we can do in the meantime, while we wait for the sideburns to grow out, to minimize the wild-man look?
Thanks for the great videos George! This particular video is my "go to" anytime I have the urge for a beard trim. Next time I'm in the Philly area (I live in Oregon, but have family in Philly) I hope to stop by your shop. You da man!
I love this video and your beard. I wish I clicked on it before the last one as I just came back and sat down after watching my last click on how to trim a growing beard! Yep I trimmed it and wish I had not. My question is I am growing a goatee- mustache and it was getting crazy curly and I looked like a derelict. My question is, do I just let it go at this point until I get the length you have? Thank you for your videos.
Nice beard! As someone who has a “patchy” beard at 21 is there hope it will fill in with age? I’ve let it grow and the length definitely helps my beard appear fuller but it isn’t by any means a beard like yours and obviously I want to have realistic expectations for 21 and I was wondering what your beard was like at 21 if it was just as full as you have it now or were some areas weaker than others?
Same man..i want to get a eard like his..and im 23..its been two months maybe since i get a trim.. I've decided not to touch my beard whatsoever for next 2-3 years..i got a little bit patchy beard...but hopefully with time.. everything will cover up
Question about brushes, I have a boars brush and some kent combs. I'm finding lately that the comb is causing split ends. So I started using the boars brush more and I'm finding that the bristles may be stiff enough but they're so dense that they only brush the top of my beard they don't through the beard.
Mine tends to get very frizzy and is not soft my growth is also very slow so when its frizzy it makes it look see through ..any suggestions..? Ive not trimmed it for 6 months
I love to grow my beard but the problem is my beard strands are getting splitting into two or more halves I even tried some beard oils but there is no improvement with all those products Please suggest me some tips to stop this splits in between of the strands
George I am 11 weeks into my Yeard. I failed twice in the past but have approached things differently this time and feel much more educated and confident than I ever have before. I do not trim at all except for the top cheek line which I trim very little. I know this is completely premature and rest assured I have no intention of trimming for one year, but I worry about finding the right person to trim my beard when the time comes. I have heard so many horror stories of barbers ruining beards that I am already stressing about having to some day sit in the barbers chair with my beard on the line. Is there anyone in Central Florida that you would recommend? I am willing to travel for the right trim when the time comes. I look forward to your response
Vlog of the Yeard You made a statement in your video about seeing a picture of your bearded self. Same thing happened to me! I had been maintenance trimming for professionalism until I shockingly and unexpectedly got a ruinous cheese wedge butchering, and now I'm committed to no trimming. I have a picture with a friend of mine at a party and I miss my beard that use to vex me with fly away hairs. Another channel, I think Greg Boswell is his name, mentioned a barber in central Florida Matt Gifted Hands who is on You Tube. Also, Gray Bailey travels to Melbourne from time to time, so maybe if he gets a guest chair we can sit in his chair! Anyway, I'm going to follow your vlog. Keep your resolve!
Ok, so here's a question: I know there's no magic product to make hair grow faster or longer. On the other hand..... I know I'm prone to split ends. Both on my head hair and my beard. If I were better about using beard oil.... would that help? Not that the oil promotes growth.... but that I'm not yanking the hairs out as they get longer and the split ends get tangled?
What do you recommend for guys with coarse, thick, curly beards? At one year of growth, I really have 7 inches of beard but with the curl.. it bring it back to 5.3 inches lol. I use the "Edens Co Wash" which is great... but what about for out of the shower? Just oil or a leave in?
Oil would be best. You really have to rinse out the eden while in the shower or the oil coagulates the conditioner that is left in and you get little conditioner chunks that look like cottage cheese lol
I meant to say.. I do rinse out the Eden's in the shower. I never use it as a leave in, but I use to use Shea moistures leave in beard detangler.. and it was good.. but left white flakes in my beard.
I have a kinky beard too personally I would use a clear oil instead; however, a few warm not hot pulses with a blow drier should melt it enough or warm it in your hands first then apply. Pure Shea butter can be great but some are better than others meaning more or less waxiness.
Yeah, Ill stick with a clear oil. Leave in conditioners turn out to not be good for beards, at least for me. The majority of them cause shrinkage and leave white flakes.
I've found that Ebony Black follicles are similar to a black vehicle insomuch as whatever you use is reflected back like a mirror. And the same goes for Silver or White follicles, whatever is used the light is refracted through without bending, clear or at least colour neutral products are essential.
Help! I need someplace / someone that I can send a photo of my 'Yeard' to so that I know beforehand what to ask my local Beard Barber for. (please). I know I want a beard shaping and want to keep my beard as long as I can while still looking good. Thank you in advance for your feedback. Jim

Do you think it will continue to fill in or should I already have it. I don't wanna quit by any means but I do look like patches the hobo. What do I do? Thanks a lot Jared
Hey Sultan I have a question about starting the neck, my beard is as white as yours, and about an inch long now, I am trimming at two fingers above the Adams apple, should I start the neck now or wait until my beard is long enough to cover the neck growth?
Cover the neck growth. I made that trimming mistake on one of my beards years ago. You really need the "back beard" or "underbeard" to create a solid full beard look
I wish I had faster growing facial hair. I went for a few months and only ever got decent sideburns while my upper and lower lips had ruff, short hair that was a true pain to shave when I finally gave up the ghost.

think my main issue is my facial hair is like steel wool, so softening it and moisturizing it is a constant battle, and I'm in a very dry and high altitude climate that gets cold a lot. and I feel this cold dry air sucks moisture out of my hair, and aggravates the skin a bit. so options for that is appreciated
