Sorry for the dodgy camera work on this one! I won't be such a fool next time 😂 I also have just noticed the trouser should be US Olive Drab not Field Drab 😬
Recently discovered your videos Kris & they are fantastic. This one is no exception. Paints used always clear with easy to follow logical steps. Your WWII 20mm range reviews also super useful. I now have a load of AB & TQD US Paras, SS & Fallschirmjagers with more on the way from Adler & Elheim so can try out your Pea Dot & Splittertarn techniques! Think I’ll be getting some US Rangers now! Would love to see how you approach Winter German camo both infantry & vehicles in future videos. Many thanks & keep up the great work. Chris
WOW, thank you so much 🤩🤩 this comment has made my day! I'm chuffed you're enjoyment the channel and I look forward to seeing what I else I con you into purchasing 🤣
Really enjoyed your approach to painting up some Rangers. I saw the helmet marking, but curious as why you didn't add any other patch markings like rank and Ranger tab?
Thanks a lot buddy and good question! I decided against it purely because I didn't feel confident it would look good. The helmet marking on the back took up some time so it put me off attempting more intricate details. Basically, I was being lazy ;) I know Warlord do or did insignia decals so I'm assuming that aspect should be covered easily with a decal.
@@paintingpanzers I know a lot of folks don't want to bother with the decals sheet which comes in the plastics...but, they do add that next layer of detail to the model/unit. As a modeler before a gamer, applying the decals is not a big deal. I ensure all my leaders in my Chain of Command Platoon have some sort of rank, and if able a unit/division patch. The Rangers are unique as they also have that Ranger marking on the back of the helmet which makes them really stand out on the table. Anyways, that could be another video? Well take and hope your arm heals up quickly.

Where do you buy the Vallejo paints?
My LGS Tactics in Perth, WA. I do get some on ebay too 👍
@@paintingpanzers thanks, do you buy the individual paints or the sets?
@@Anthony-oh4ee individual with Vallejo mate but if you can find sets that are a tad cheaper than buying individual that might be a good idea!
like it - thanks 🙂
You're most welcome 😊
