      Is that mice or rats? The rats in the West Midlands chase the cats 🤣

      He needs to move his spuds really! Or proof the building against rat ingress.

    Hi mate, I use ferrets and air rifles for rats. but most of the smallholdings will put down poison first then ask me to come round after it's been down for a while. I won't use the ferrets in those circumstances but don't mind shooting them How can I get them to stop using poison

      I guess that’s down to educating them as much as you can. But it’s always hard to do as it’s something they’ve probably done for many years!
      Of course, the new legislation, should be doing the educating for you. But it seems to not be having much effect at all.
      I’ve just been in a farm shop with hundreds of tubs of rodenticide on sale with a tiny sign saying that the purchasing person must have a certificate….I wonder how many farmers do have a certificate and who’s to say that that person on the farm is using it and not someone else with no training!

      @pelletandferretpestcontrol7367 Рік тому +1

      @Pest Interceptors as far as I know they don't have a certificate but the poison apparently only kills ones that's why they use it and can just buy the stuff

    Hello Christian. Hope your well my friend? A Subscriber i watch regular on UA-cam called "Shawn Woods" has just uploaded a video about a new detection bait called "Detex rodent bait" its NOT a rodenticide but when the rodents eat the blocks their poop glows in the dark in light. Its completely harmless.
    Have a good weekend :ua-cam.com/video/MwUikWCxhCw/v-deo.html

      We’ve had it over here for years buddy. We much prefer to use tracking dust. That way you see exactly where the rats and mice have gone to and from.
      Some rats only poop in Latrine points (were they all go to the toilet in a hidden away place) so looking for glow in the dark poop is useless in those circumstances you see.
      Here’s some examples of how we use it.

      @@PestInterceptors do you only use the powder or do you use the gel too? I have always used the gel but mainly due to the cost.

      @@teespestquest I’ve never tried the gel. Perhaps we should as the cost of the powder is stupidly high!

      @Pest Interceptors the gel defo goes further but is a little messy and sometimes awkward to apply in tight spaces if necessary.
