    TRC makes their own kydex sheaths btw. Molded perfectly to fit the blade. These are custom, and semi-custom knives with some of the best heat treatment around (Imo they’re thee best 😉).
    Their warranty is very forgiving, and they have exceptional customer service.

    I have older TRC “South Pole” and “This is Freedom” blade’s. Best production knives I’ve had. There’s a few other TRC knives I’d like to try but I haven’t been fast enough...lol

    Looks like a Extrema Ratio handle to me. Not a bad handle design anyway…not a big fan of chinping as well, but they did it very well, gave the chimping a phase and all is smooth, so it will not brake to easy in these spots. Not expensive, but a lot of money.

      Exactly what I was going to say re. Extrema Ratio but I did think to check whether any other exceptionally aware, observant and intelligent blade lover might have pipped me to the post ;D

      @@Thepreppersbunkeroutdoors You are welcome Jacob. Same goes for friendship prices…a friendship price is an enemy price. It is so low someone who does seriously not like you, but maybe still likes your products, would buy it because he knows itˋs a way too good of a deal to let it slip and the producer just wasted his lifetime because he could never male a living out of it. So whenever anyone askes you for a friendship price, you may ask yourself if this is your friend. If I have a friend who struggles with money or I simply want this person to get a pruoduct of mine, itˋs free or we make any kind of deal…because, you know, I am struggling too.

      @@dongkhamet1351 Under the Bridge Tool and Scales has a model with a similar design but a little more unique. Might be pretty cool for some tasks as you can rotate the knife with a pinchgrip and lock the position with palm and pinkie.

    Looks nice but the only thing I'm not really digging is the tang is proud of the scales. I prefer a knife where the scales and tang are smooth and transitionless.
    Oh BTW took my hi viz adventure craft out camping over the weekend. The more I use it the more I love it. Now, THAT'S a handy lil edc fixed blade and would be a good "urban" knife as well as a general purpose knife around camp.

    • @Thepreppersbunkeroutdoors
      @Thepreppersbunkeroutdoors  6 місяців тому

      @aceman1126 so I don't know where I stand on the tang. I mean logically I would say I like the tang to be flush but they way TRC has it proud and contourwd even on the trc is sssooo nice so 🤷‍♂️
      I'm glad to hear that you are enjoying your AdventureCraft!!! That's what it's all about!

      @@Thepreppersbunkeroutdoors trc definitely makes high quality stuff so I don't doubt it's a good knife. I think my next will be a white river firecraft but idk which version to get! Lol such a "problem" to have.
      In more urban places I usually stick to folders and usually spyderco at that so most of my fixed blade knives are camping oriented. That's why I like the adventure craft so much because it fits right in that sweet spot between the two worlds.
      If I use it in a place normie non knife people are they will not even notice or if they do it's not scary to them like a normal full size fixed blade is but it's still plenty big enough to do everything I'd want a knife to do and stronger than most folders.
      I know people that walk around with big bowies or kabars but I put them in the same category as people that open carry pistols... sure you CAN and should be allowed to but it's not very wise or practical most of the time.
      Keeping a low profile is usually a good thing

    With great new steels I would like spine thickness to be 0.1 Inches for knives under 4.5 inches of length in general. Unless there to be reasons for thicker. Thank you for great review as always.

    • @Thepreppersbunkeroutdoors
      @Thepreppersbunkeroutdoors  6 місяців тому

      @DaryooshF.Sh.P-vq6mu I do like them thin myself! There is a time where stiffness itself is preferable regardless of strength. Especially for bushcraft.
      I would like to see an industry trend towards thinner knives though!

    Looked at their website...they make multiple lines of fine looking knives. Price is a strange hang-up for something you might buy once.....like a one knife to rule them all concept. I've got a Marbles drop point I bought in 2003 that's my absolute favorite. Edit: how well will the "apocalypse" finish hold up?
