Boring conversation we have every year. No matter how the teams play Gen G and chovy simply counter the way t1 play. The slow and methodical play doesn’t allow t1 to play their fast paced early mid games. If that doesn’t work t1 just out team fight their way out of gold deficits but gen g can always match the team fight ability as well so it just looks unwinnable from start to finish. As a long time t1 fan I wanna see like full scaling from t1 vs gen g and see how they react.
doesnt matter GEN will still win, spring finals was a scaling meta, and GEN dont just play slow and methodical every game with every draft, did we forget that GEN complely smoke T1 in week 1 with 2 games under 25 mins.The only way T1 wins is if the meta favor them and they are the best in that meta with all comfort champs and teams cant ban them all out.When T1 is in form and with the meta behind their back they can beat anyone but they're just not a very versatile team

you can tell Faker is the ultimate winner after seeing the clip. 100% he's thinking about the terrible W and he's wanting to sink into a black whole and disappear. Most people reacted like he was mental ill or had issues but I think that interpretation are from people who are not competitive or are happy to just participate. Faker is not here to make up the numbers. He wants to win worlds every single year and he wants to be the best LCK team. All of this is going through his mind when he thinks about how he lost a winnable match for his team vs their arch rivals and also against the very mid laner whose the new best player. He's thinking about all of this and also how the T1 fans will start their hate and blame game but he will feel like he let them down despite this.
I dont think most people can begin to comprehend what being a competitor is like. You are a borderline psycho you only want to win nothing else and this cold passion drive you. Its why we don't see many people keep doing it at the highest level when they near 30 because most of us are not built like this. Few people can keep motivating themselves to keep improving and keep being honest about their own level, this isn't a skill to be learned. Faker not retiring after his 3rd world and still wanting to be seen as one of the best is a sign of his level of sheer determination. Also this game is so dogshit to play in soloQ and stuff think about all the motivation he needs to just keep playing this game full stop. And if you think *money* is motivation, ask yourself what happens what you get the money? What motivates you when you have all the money????? I don't think any non delusional human or T1 fan is going to blame the game there. It was clearly Faker misplaying by using his Corki dash towards his enemy in the hopes of oneshotting the squicy maybe when he probably should've grouped with his team, but hey, I am not a pro so I can't make any claims if what he did was right or wrong.(Don't kill for me saying this, please)
I feel extremely bad for him, winning Worlds after 7years means that people or their fans will have more expectations this year especially with the same roster. A lot of people said that they would be under less pressure since they proved after losing in 2022, but I feel it had the opposite impact. All five of them need a really good break, especially Faker, he is their leader, father figure and idol and he is always expected to play at his best, which is never possible for any person imo. Losing to the same team for more than a year must be frustrating as hell, especially if you were the most likeable cause for the loss.
I hope Faker is fine and gets some treatment if he is injured in the head or something. Man, ngl, watching that clip of Faker literally broke my heart, I don't think any human being would want someone to self harm.

Faker did need to try to do something like that with how the state of the game was slowly going in favour of GEN. He didn't need to do that specifically, but he had to do something eventually. Also, it was a great idea by Faker, as he could've easily taken out Chovy and won them the fight, but he mis clicked badly. He's been making these mistakes so many times this meta that I begin to feel sorry for him. Well, until I see this glazing and meat riding by Wolf and others in the LCK, then I no longer do.
Because the current mid lane meta is the result of complete low IQ unqualified individuals trying to balance this game. Zeri mid is a fucking disaster in game balancing and design. Brand Zyra jng is also disgusting. Varus top is PDF file shit. I remember when Sylas / Akali mid meta or the old GP / Camille top meta.. at the time we all complained how op the champs were but this was actually entertaining to watch. Even Galio, TF, Ryze / Ori, Syndra meta. Or make other mages/assassins OP and bring some chaos to the mid lane.
