If i recall correctly, moving out of render during the titan fight on SP, causes it to glitch out in terms of movement (requires the player to relog after the tame to 'unglitch' it). The AI going crazy on wild spawns is normal, though it not jumping back to the arena, i have not seen/had yet 🤔
Side note for the future, though I've not tested it myself, apparently if you bury Basilisk's, Purlovia's and/or Reaper King's around the battlefield, he'll rag on them real bad and it'll keep him in place for a while since he will rag, but can't hurt them. His Ice breath however MIGHT hit them, I'm not sure. Pretty sure that was a Beta Ice Titan you got as well, since an Alpha immediately gets back all of his health.
The Titans are really underrated ARK creatures, since you can only use them on this map. Wildcard really needs to make a TLC for those guys so they can harvest resources with them, eat normal food, and you could use them on other maps.

I thought they fixed the issue with cryoing mek when they have an attachment that it no longer does damage to it. Its only when you take it off
