You should try the shimano SLX 7'8 swimbait rod. They are cheap for 120 bucks but can cast 2 - 6 oz i believe. Its enough for those swimbaits. I threw 4oz swimbait and perform perfect.
Just using an extra heavy capable of casting 2-4oz baits. Eventually getting a bigger one for these baits so that’ll change to capable of casting 3-6oz baits🤘🏻
