Zero - I switched to the BU508A, High Voltage Fast Switching NPN transistor and the things run MUCH cooler now and is capable of handling a lot more amps in the circuit. Perhaps you might look up the specs and give it a go... you might be surprised.
    Just a thought and suggestion.

Also, students knotched the same rim you are using and have sunk the Neo's into the rim, JB Welded them and used packing tape with nylon for extra holding strength... works!

    Separate the pulse motors.
In other words make the electronics that drive the coils into left and right banks so they can run independently like having 2 pulse motors.
Then rotate the flywheels so the magnets position from left to right are staggered this will give 16 pulses per-revolution rather than the 8 you getting now and you will see the speed increase and amps drop more torque. well that’s my pennies worth nice build there well done keep up the good work.. please remove other post

this design was abandoned for a project called the Boxmotor you can find it on my channel or my website and yes I built a better generator thanks for watching

How much resistance in those driving coils?
    Thanks for sharing.

I'd like to see a pulse motor that can get anAC induction motor up to it's rated rpm of say, 1750 rpm or higher. I know that would require it to have some decent amount of torque to it. Right now I'm using a 48vdc Marathon Electric pump motor rectified through a variac as my prime mover. The G.E. 1.5hp HVAC induction motor I have is coupled to the pump motor, and the capacitors I have across the legs of the windings are giving me a steady 125 vac at around 6.82 amps.

Solution is: Larger wheels, #2. No metal on outside of the magnets, [ side that brush you're coils. #3. Looks like you're coils are done Correctly , adding Two more per side wouldn't hurt" along with [ Making them with, smaller wire & more turns...
Anyway " its you're Experiments " SO, You know what you're looking for.......

@vid009 yes check out the new cartmotor on my channel i'm getting better results new video posting soon VMG had issues it couldn't drive the induction generator. The new cartmotor is more efficient the wheel has 22 neos and is 30Lbs making 30amps charging 8 battery's in parallel with a 3phase 3hp induction generator /motor and the wheel is mount directly to the motor's shaft . the coils fire sequence so posting a 3d video of this motor would be pointless if it don't work. it is a SG circuit

Have you tried a rotoverter in place of the gen.
    Search for Rotoverter on youtube
Quanta Magnetics has a good video on the conversion process.
    Cheers
