For some reason it's quite moving to see you joyful, thriving and well. I recall many happy hours working through your Police anthology song book in a small storage room with my best friend who was the 'you' and was always telling me very seriously about what "Copeland" would be doing in this situation. Good times.
I'd say this is the most entertaining virtual tour I've had of any place thanks to your unique humor. I loved the 😂 intro/background story to every instrument... Thanks for sharing the Sacred Grove and your many talents to the world and last but not least for making me laugh!!😂😊
That HAMMOND!! I AM HOLLERING!!🤯My tape-driven brain switched on the reel-to-reel and bits of Vanilla Fudge and Spencer Davis Group were jumbling around. Just so you'll know, I will gladly come over and play any saxes you have laying about. HOWEVER- everything I play will either sound like Lucille Ball playing "Glowworm" or, maybe "Careless Whisper"😆🎷😆 (its been SOME DAYS since the axe and I were together🤔)
I KNOW IT WOULD BE HARD TO GO THERE AND NOT TOUCH ANYTHING BUT I WOULD JUST LOVE TO GO THERE AND RESPECTFULLY JUST LOOK AND WALK AROUND LIKE A MUSEUM AND APPRECIATE THE HISTORY AND TAKE IN ALL THAT ROOM HOLDS
« …It might have sounded to you like wrong notes because you’re not sophisticated enough to appreciate the alternative harmonies ». THAT’S what I keep telling ‘em! Thanks Stew! I know I can always count on you to cheer me up! 🤘🏼
This is an awesome tour! I wish there was a way to extract all the music that permeates those walls. I would love to see Stewart send that very old Gibson acoustic out to Ted Woodford @twoodfrd for a UA-cam crossover.
Know what would be awesome is if Sting, Stewart, and Andy get together and do little tours playing jam sessions of some Police songs, and maybe some other songs they like to play. They are such brilliant musicians with unique chemistry, they should expand on it, and play for their enjoyment, and the public. Doesn't have to be a big Police reunions tours doing the standard Police songs, but they pick a few Police songs and jam for two hours or so. It would be a huge shame to waste their talent as a trio, one of the best in music history.
I believe Sting gave his 1978 strat (the black one seen in the Secret Policeman's Ball and all over the videos from the Dream of the Blue Turtles singles) to the Smithsonian.
Stewart , the way your holding the trumpet at 5:00 is the correct way to hold a trumpet according to MIles Davis . Why because it looks cooler that way !!!!
I don’t know how to play an instrument. Regrettable, yes. To be able to sit in for a session at the Sacred Grove, even just to play a triangle, which I’m sure I could sort out… I mean, bucket list. 100%.
Every musician's dream...a room big enough to have an entire collection of instruments set up and ready to play at a moment's notice!!!
Grazie Mr Copeland x aver condiviso un luogo così importante 🥁🎷🥁🎹🥁🥁🎸🥁🥁🎺🥁🥁🪘🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁
😍
I’ve already seen this one, but I’ll gladly watch it again Stewart.
Thank you for sharing what a facinating Sacred Grove. Mr Copeland you are very special
Oh man, this video takes me back. No place I'd rather be than The Sacred Grove.
How Stuart and Sting managed to tour together for years is a minor miracle.
*Stewart
Sting is a conceded jerk. Stuart is a down to earth nice guy. Sting would have snubbed the person interviewing him.
"Just pick a note...and...negotiate." I Love this guy!!!😉😎
Best line in the vid.
nothing but serotonin when that hammond was played

This video is 10 years old...Great Stewart
Music is everything!
Fantastic video, I love how he begins by kicking out Thomas Lang! 🤣
Fantastic! Lots of fun to watch. Keep 'em comin' !
Much love Stewart ❤
A masterclass in proper money spending.
Why doesn’t this have 30 million+ views?
I am dying 😂 ova hea… you’re a regular knucklehead. Love this
He's like a little kid. I had a guy give me a 50s M3 . I love how it fold back on itself.
He loves music!
The Sacred Grove.... where the magic things happen.
I KNOW IT WOULD BE HARD TO GO THERE AND NOT TOUCH ANYTHING BUT I WOULD JUST LOVE TO GO THERE AND RESPECTFULLY JUST LOOK AND WALK AROUND LIKE A MUSEUM AND APPRECIATE THE HISTORY AND TAKE IN ALL THAT ROOM HOLDS
the ultimate man cave...... what a guy Stewart is....

For a quick second it seemed like my brain was expecting to hear the beginning of... Your time is gonna come by Zepplin on that Hammond! haha
He could play Ted Danson in "The Ted Danson Story." Or Ted Danson could play him in "The Stewart Copeland Story." They sound EXACTLY alike.
He's 71 with the mind of a 21 year old.
At 1:41, I wasn't expecting to hear such a powerful beat out of that little kit.
"Where did you get that 1978 Strat?"
Stewart: "I bought it in a store.... in 1978!"
LMAO

wow lol love it

Stewart you are a jazzmusician but you don't know it yet!🤪
I believe Sting gave his 1978 strat (the black one seen in the Secret Policeman's Ball and all over the videos from the Dream of the Blue Turtles singles) to the Smithsonian.
I would love to see how some of these instruments - especially the brass ones - were described on eBay.
You seem generous with your time.
You should get with Steve Holmes. Steve has a live stream show now and it sounds good. Steve is there in LA.
That guy was Klark Kent!
How on earth is this video not entirely focused on that snare drum?!
Do you still have your van zalinge bass and does it have a name Stewart?
When can I come over and jam?
Stewart could empty and clean out a few soup cans, turn them upside down, and make better music that the 99%.
Without a doubt, music keeps you young, Stewart Copeland looks very good.
Stewart , the way your holding the trumpet at 5:00 is the correct way to hold a trumpet according to MIles Davis . Why because it looks cooler that way !!!!
I would love to spend a few hours poking around in there
What is that sprial around the splash cymbal stand??
Where's an old interview in Los Angeles with signed media? Can you upload the entire interview?
Now that's a trumpet big enough to skin a croc!! 😆Say, did anyone ever tell you are a pretty good drummer? 😉

How is it possible he doesn’t have at least one pocket trumpet?
There's no wrong notes in JAZZ
I can't hit a 'right' jazz note
First again
I’ll give you $20.00 for the cello.
