Lots of people confuse the 3.8 and the 4/98 (they are both the same capacity but different engines) different stroke & diameter. 3.8 is the older engine. Still 3.8l
Plough from Norway...Mmmmm... what happenned to the 4th Furrow ;-) Go on Man ! do another Video - find the 4th Furrow ( must have broken off somewhere ? ) Don/t let the Scottish Bathgate built tractors down - they gave so much - but the british farmer didn't realise it. I have attended many a Demo - 4-Fur behind a 2WD 262, well setup and an excellent performer. A bit soft but OK if looked after. thankyou for the show
Answer from the owner: I built it myself, the light bar is from a Krone mower (in dutch it's called a cyclomaaier). So it's self-built. Always welcome to check it out!
I ended up with an old D.B. 1490 ( keep the comments down guys , I know ) with a schwizer turbo on , it just quietly hums , anyone out there got a video on here of a schwizer - ed engine ? my turbo might be ker - knackered , engine still got bags of power though .
So nice machine! I have a good old 270. Best tractors from that times
omg i remember that sound lol.. we had a w reg yellow leyland 802 with straight through pipe ..pulled like a train & could be heard miles away ...

I realised it mate , I drove one for 42 years , 10 x 2 272 , fine , capable scots tractor .

A 272 never had a turbo a 282 is basically a 272 with a turbo
