Thank you for your demo on 5G Sim USB DONGLE Router, and I bought one and trying to use it with Jio. Do you have any instruction for using it on OpenWRT and Windows PC? OpenWRT says the SIM is not detected , and Windows is not responding even after the MBIM Driver installed
I want to use this device as a standalone, without connecting to any OS system line windows, Linux or Rpi. I am interested to connect only by connecting power through USB port. Does it will be work? (as a simply like router’s hotspot)
Have you checked it with any OpenWRT router ? or Can I use it on any router with USB port as WAN input ?, if yes let me know what is the cost of this? also can this be provided with RM520N-GL ? I am planning to use it in my custom made OpenWRT router system.

a usb dongle is ment for operating 24/7 and being a WAN for multiple devices .... a mobile hotspot cant, it will just over heat, and battery will get permanent damage

It will be main data only. This is like a smartphone only, just it doesn't have a large screen of its own and battery power source of its own. But has large antennas, as that is its purpose to send and receive 5G signals to/from nearby mobile towers.
But how you get 300Mbps as shown in video with Airtel 5g sim. I am only getting at max 30Mbps download speed and nearly half upload. It still showing LTE only.

@@GaintArrow I am using SIM8262E-M2. May be its not compatible with JIO 5G. Today I will try AIRTEL 5G sim. If got 5G speed as demonstrated in this video it will be good. Otherwise I have to buy router as you have mentioned.
