I absolutely adore watching your videos, & I'm usually watching them until 4 or 5 am - at this moment it is 3 am here in the UK. You teach so well - even describing the little tools that you use . This challenge has been so fun, I love finding out more about each other, and FINDING others. I’ve heard about your channel, here and there, but it never registered, I am a new subbie. I just have to say, I’m SO in love with your wall, all I can think of is going through it 😂😂😂. My hubby chose a sewing machine as his favorite craft item, often times he’s on my UA-cam with his 100+ y.o. Hand crank sewing machine. You did an amazing job with being in front of the camera, I made something while I answered the questions, hands only! Big hugs! Chelle

Wow! Sheila, it was lovely to hear about you and your family. I also collect silk sari fabric & silk strips from mostly eBay & thrift shops - it's the beautiful colours & softness of the silk that I love so much. I also love beautiful beads & embellishments & my stash is growing daily - I especially love Cloisonne, Lamp work, & Crystal beads.
I hope to make silk tassels, bead dangles and other beautiful adornments for my craft projects this year, and it's all thanks to you and many other wonderful crafters who have inspired me - Thank you so much. Love to you all.
Btw - my favourite colour is pink, pink & more pink! I have a sister, and growing up from the 50s onwards, she was always dressed in blue & any gifts & things given to her were always in blue - same for me, but in pink! Our favourite colours are still blue for her pink for me.

My gosh Shiela I loved hearing your love of Fabrics. I am very conservative in my home & what I wear , That being said I too LOVE the Indian fabrics they make my whole body happy looking at them holding them. So I get you. Love your craft room.
Thank you for sharing. I wish we were neighbors. Listening to you talk about when you see something done then you have to get all the tools and things to make it even though you may not even open them for months or years.......that is me too! I have so many projects and ideas I want to make but not the time and I am addicted to shopping the sales/clearance. I just started/discovered crafting videos on UA-cam and it has taken me to a new level of inspiration.

If I had your courage I would do videos to share and teach also. I love beading and fabric. Beads on fabric even better. I can totally understand your love for both. Sheila, I'm an introvert too. My family calls me 'the phantom' cos there are so few pictures of me. (a true camera-phobe) Thank you so much for sharing yourself with all of us. I truly identified with how you feel about the fabrics and trims! I still take out my package and go through it, piece by piece, and I still feel a thrill and catch in my breath. Well so nice to meet you, you're adorable. And I can relate to the love of color and wanting every
supply you see. I also went through a few years of taking art classes (I worked at a community art
center, The Banana Factory) and would get all the supplies for it and then move on to something else. That was until I found mix media/altered books which then lead to junk journals. That's where I've been for a couple of years. Soooo, thank you for sharing your creativity and I cant wait to get
the bundle I ordered.

Lovely story. I too over analyze everything. Therefore my crafting is painfully slow. I have to many supplies to choose from and get stymied.

Good morning. When I listen to.any of the videos on my devices or Sally's devices the volume is good. I'm wondering if maybe our videos aren't playing well through yours. I don't know how.to fix that. I preview each video before loading to make sure it plays well.
@@bohodaydreams Thanks for the reply, Sheila. I think you might be right as my computer is kind of old now (5-6 years) and I just bought a wireless speak to try to improve the sound but it won't connect. When I contacted the company they told me that the problem was probably that my computer couldn't handle the new 5.0 Bluetooth so, sorry for bugging you. Other UA-cam sites I visit the sound is usually pretty good by I've only noticed the sound low on the two vids I watched (You crazy gals in your saris one, and the one where you're telling us about yourself). But I solved the problem by enabling the subtitles so - problem solved.
I am so glad I happened upon your site and Sally's because I just put an order in for lots of different colors of sari scapes. Now, after watching many of you vids I have so many ideas for what to do with it when it comes in. I also have ordered whole saris that I used as curtains or on doorways. I just love everything Indian - the music, Bollywood musicals, all their wonderful handmade items (I have a collection of mostly old and one new kanthas and could buy a 100 regardless if I could use them or not. I like paper and textiles as materials for crafting so your tutorials are right up my ally. I'm an old retired hippie and have a complete house of boho. Just never outgrew the love of eclectic, colorful things!! this video you made hit home as I am not an introvert but prefer living alone and spending my time making things.I have friends and I love it when they come out to my village to visit but I'm quite content living in a small village with my three dogs. Thank you so much for sharing your personnel story with all of us. I just adore you two gals and look forward to watching all your vids. Love the one where you two are wearing saris! Wish I had a nutty friend like Sally & you.

No I didn't get that far. I started to take the pants apart and thought I would start the crazy quilt. I even ordered all the silk ribbons to embellish and then I moved to Montana and Bohodaydreams happened. But I have a lot of books on it. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
