Hey L Flohr - you do not need to replace the "filter" of the air washer at all. You just need to clean/wash the disk pack and the water tray regularly and of course, replace or refill the water. So as long as you take care of your unit - only the water cube needs replacement about every 12 months. On air purifiers, the changing interval is somewhere between 6 to 12 months, depending on the pollution in the room and the usage time of the air purifier. Hope that helps. Stay healthy and best regards from Samuel @ Stadler Form.
Excellent video explaining the difference. I’ve been trying to find the Robert in grey color in the United States but I can’t seem to find it online nor your website. Can you tell me where I can buy this unit?
Hi @carminejr7 Thank you for the compliment and your enquiry. Unfortunately, I have to inform you that our Robert and George air washers are not available in the USA. Unfortunately, only separate devices are available in the USA. We have air purifiers, that focus on cleaning the air, and humidifiers, which optimally humidify dry room air. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us here or via service@stadlerform.com Best regards, Lea from @ Stadler Form
Hey Brandon - thank you for your nice comment. We get in touch wiht Sony and Microsoft :-) Stay safe and healthy! Best regards from Samuel @ Stadler Form
Hey Ariadna, thank you for your message. I do not know the unit personally, but the humidification is done with ultrasonic technology. So if you have soft water - it might be working for you. If you have hard water - I would rather recommend another technology (not ultrasonic). Hope that helps. Let us know, if you have any further questions. Stay safe and healthy. Best regards from Samuel @ Stadler Form.
Hi Daniel, from what I found about Sharp's Plasma Cluster, it is an air purifier which uses negative ions to better remove particles from the air. But as there is no water and no disks - I would not consider it to be an air washer. Have a great day - best regards from Samuel @ Stadler Form.
Hi @obsidian9998, The drier the air, the more water the device needs. Therfore, the consumption and how often you have to refill depends on the humidity. @YAT 97 thank you for your message. In this case I do not recommend an air washer but rather a specific air purifier such as Roger little or Viktor or Roger. Let me know, if you need any further information. All the best from Samuel @ Stadler Form.
Thank you for all your videos. Im just still not 100% sure wich system to choose. I live in Copenhagen where we have crazy high level of chalk and other stuff , the dh is 17-25. So i guess if i choose an evaporative system, i would end up changing filters quite often ? So would the air washer be the right choice for me. Hope you can help, thank you . ;-)
Hey Morten, thank you for your message. I think that George the air washer would do a great job for you. Just make sure to clean (decalc) it quite often in order to not allow the chalk to build up on the inside of the unit. But it definitely will improve your room's humidity level a lot and as the main parts are dishwaher safe - cleaning is not too bad either. Stay healhty! Best regards from Samuel @ Stadler Form.
Hallo Morten! After dealing with the chalk in Munich and wild fires in California, I highly recommend the Boneco W200 air washer. It’s the first unit that finally removed pesky particles with excellence. Aus der Schweiz :)
@@edgecru5her how dare you recommending anything else than one of our units :-) Just joking - we are happy, that you found the unit that works for you. If you have a chance to try George - do it. Helps with particles and can be washed in the dish washer. How cool is that? Stay healthy. All the best - Samuel
@@stadlerform Thanks! One more question. We have 34m2 room with ceiling height 4-4.2m, would it be enough with middle size Roger in that case? Thank you!
@@zanemaskava7698 Thank you for your message. In this case (high ceiling) Roger would be the perfect fit for your room. Roger little migth be above his capacity limits. All the best from Samuel @ Stadler Form.
Hi there, I do not fully understand your question: We do have individual tests for our HEPA powered air purifiers same as for our air washers. Both do the job, both have their advantages and disadvantages. What are you looking for in a unit? Depending on your needs, we can give you some additional information. All the best from Samuel @ Stadler Form.
Hey lisemae - thank you for getting in touch. No, the parts of your Robert cannot be cleaned in the dishwasher. However, there is a "automatic" cleaning mode which makes cleaning very easy. This video explains how: ua-cam.com/video/2IdAS7AR0Vc/v-deo.html Stay safe and healthy. Best regards from Samuel @ Stadler Form.
Is very easy to make something to push air through water my question is which filter filters more pushing the air through a HEPA filter or pushing the air through the water which one gets more particles out
Hey Abaddj, thank you for the great question! The answer is easy: A good HEPA filter will remove more (percentage) and smaller particles from the air. So if you are looking for cleanest air possible, a HEPA air purifier is the product of your choice. If you look for a humidifier which can reduce the amount of particles in the air - an air washer is the unit to go for. If humidity allone is your target - you can choose any humidifier that fits your water hardness and your room size. Stay safe and healthy. Best regards from Samuel @ Stadler Form.
In which of our models? All our air washers and humidifiers have a distinct place in the water tray where it is market "cube" - and there is the right place for your water cube. But basically, you can place it anywhere where it is in contact with the water. Hope that helps. Let us know, if you have any further questions. Best regards from Samuel @ Stadler Form.
Hey Paresh, thank you for your message. An air cooler uses a fan and evaporating water to cool down a room. An air washer uses a fan and a disk pack to humidify and clean the air in a room. So that is the main difference. Hope that helps. Please let us know, if you have further questions. Best regards from Samuel @ Stadler Form.
Best product is an air purifier (such as Roger or Roger little) with an activated carbon filter. Activated carbon is the best against bad smells. However, an air washer such as George can help, too. Stay safe and healthy. Best regards from Samuel @ Stadler Form.
The air washer comparatively being less effective at cleaning wasn't explained How can an air washing mechanism be improved? Greater air-water surface area?
Hey Alyx - thank you for your message. There are already air washers in the market with even better cleaning performance. The way to go is to implement a HEPA filter in addition to the air washing functionality (disk pack and water). This allows to incease the cleaning capacity to an air purifier like level. Hope this helps. Let us know, if you have any further questions. All the best from Samuel @ Stadler Form.
you forgot to mention that the purifier's filter would hold dirt inside that causing it to rot and by the time in which causes it to be less effective in each passing day
Hi MasterX MasterX - thank you for your messge. It is correct that with the air purifier the airborne pollutants get caught in the filter. With air purifiers, it is important to clean / change (depending on the appliance) the filters regularly. If you follow the recommendation of the producer for the handling of the filters, there is no loss of performance. Best regards from Lea @ Stadler Form
@@stadlerform you see, here people torch fire onto the garbage cans and the city stinks with garbage, i bought this filter to filter the room from these stinky smokes, and in less than a month the filter stinks although it has 70% percentage on the lcd its really frustrating
