Ikr. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw his stream. I thought he would be like every CoD player complaining about TTK even though all they use is the assault rifle and no equipment. James is just a natural though.
That's cos he's been an avid fan of the game since it came out. He even did a couple of machinimas back in the day if I remember correctly.
In one of the creature talk vids he also competed in Halo tournaments when he was younger

It's wild how muscle memory kicks in for old Halo vets. I was playing on mouse and keyboard and sucking it up but when I plugged in my Xbox controller it was like riding a bike.
I tried using m&k on MCC and just couldn't get used to it for Halo, even though I do prefer it for shooters on PC. The movements with the thumbsticks just feels at home

Little tip James, don't aim for the head until their shields are gone. People take the same damage no matter where you shoot them until their shields are gone. 3 bursts with the BR to the torso, 4th to the head. Easy.
Believe it or not, this is only the third video James has ever uploaded of any bungie game ever. I believe the other two were a Destiny 2 beta video on CowChop and an ancient video of him and seamus playing Halo 1 Anniversary, the full playthrough of which he tragically lost the footage to.

Yes he never played it again on stream and when someone asked him to finish the game he said shut the fuck up so yea I would assume so lol
Halo 1: front door for everything/set standards for local multiplayer
Halo 2: is where the story really kicked off/ h2 basically birthed xboxlive/set another standard for online gaming.
Halo 3: was a direct copy and upgrade of halo 2/h3 finished the story started in halo 2 and tide loose ends of halo 1/h3 fixed issues of h2’s physics. H3 added the cut content of h1/2. H3 added community social browsers within the game. H3 added forge. H3 started amor customization.
Halo 3 ODST: a side game/made to give the customers earth missions they didn’t get in halo 2. The game takes place during halo 2 but tells hints towards halo 3’s event like the portal. Has cameos of the main line games (direct copy and paste sequence of regret jumping out of earth. Showcases the halo 3 portal). ODST adds new maps to halo 3
Halo reach: another side game/bungie’s last halo game/the last real halo game ever. Tells the story of reach from the perspective of a team of Spartans 3’s and one 2. HR adds more granular customization options. HR upgrades forge a little bit. HR adds more game modes. HR has two cameos of the main line games (keys/the POA and the copy and re-imaged scene of the first cutscene seen in halo 1). As a farewell gift to all bungie’s customers. Bungie have everyone the flaming helmets they wished they could’ve gotten in halo 3. They also do a bit extra/test the waters and give out armor effects. They also test the waters with armor abilities.
Halo 4: master chief’s armor is different for no reason. H4 literally changes everything bungie already established. H4 screws over the original bungie customers. The H4 armor is ugly asf. Everything sounds different. Plays like COD. Has COD elements. It has COD perks and care packages. The campaign looked ugly mainly because the whole art style changed for absolutely no reason. H4 is a modified reach engine.
Halo MCC: combined h1 to 3 and added that ugly h4 game to one disk. Added ODST for free as a sorry note for such a trash release. Didn’t fix anything about it for sooo long. Didn’t do anything with the game until that Russian h3 mod was getting popularity. After the Russian h3 mod clout than 343 decided to fix mcc up for PC. They added reach. They added harmless customization like helmet visors colors and some bungie cut content……than it got worse. They added a “season unlock system”. They literally put ugly looking halo 4 armor into halo 3. They basically tried to squeeze halo online into halo mcc which nobody asked for. The halo online armors are ugly halo 4 look alikes. MCC got more ugly customization added to halo 3. They basically killed halo 3 in mcc with halo 4’s ugliness.
Halo 5: another modified reach engine. H5 still has h4’s ugly art style. H5 adds more ugly armors. Can’t customize amor individually. Has micro transactions. Has a horrible campaign. The advertisement was a lie. The multiplayer plays more like COD (they took out the h4 perks and care packages and swaps it for slide and clamber). Adds unnecessary ground pound, add unnecessary thrust melee. H5 upgrades forge successfully! H5 adds a custom games browser for the first time in halo console history! H5 has halo 3 banshee’s on the cover art but ugly looking h5 banshees in the game. H5 is just another ugly halo 4.
Halo infinite: infinite is another modified reach engine. Infinite is Milking halo reach as if HR was the prime look of halo. Infinite has red flags over red flags, infinite is free to play, Infinite has no type of marketing. From 2015 to 2019 - Infinite didn’t communicate with any customers until that E3 trailer. Infinite has a Craig part one, infinite has a Craig part two, infinite still has Craig brutes. Infinites Spartan chattier is absolutely cringy, infinite has glowing Spartans. Infinite is a copy and paste of halo 5 but with 360 graphics. Infinite has no forge, no coop. Can’t color your Spartan, can’t mix and match armor. Infinite is a pay to customize. Infinite purposely limits everything so it can be monetized. Nobody knows anything about the campaign. The campaign looks boring. Infinite looks cheap. Infinite took 6 years and still repeated all of halo 4/5’s mistakes on purpose…….etc. infinite is just a big mess of red flags.

Actually one of the most broken games. Most streamers will admit how broken the gameplay is especially the standard assault rifle, Battle rifle, meleeing and snipers.
343 deleting most comments on their official page(not steam) that had pointed out bad things about the gameplay. Most likes on steam have more cons in them than pros. 73% upvotes because people still enjoy the game. Mainly because the guns do random damage especially the assault rifle(standard weapon) it sometimes takes multiple mags to lower shield sometimes 5 shots to kill people with shield. Sniper sometimes takes over 3 shots to kill, melees sometimes ignore shields. A true fuckfest. Let's also mention that you dont even get HALF of the game for free, and you're constantly flashed with battlepass and ingame microtransactions and boosters. Costumization which once meant everything in a halo game trought getting them with almost impossible achievements now can be bought with real money. You get like 0 to no XP at all and dailies and weekly's are broken to the point you cant even finish them because they wont register. Constant crashes, linear gameplay, linear costumization, a huge cashgrab with lower graphics than bungie's games, flooded with badly made guns(damage), flooded with boosterpacks. Constant infinite loading which forces you to forcefully exit the game, toxic community, hitreg and hitboxes letting you shoot people behind walls, frags which sometimes hit you from a mile away. Very un-polished game even for a Beta this was quite a dissapointment. Also to mention there's no armor to chose from. The vehicles with turrets are useless so people just use them to run over others, even with aircrafts. A pistol does more damage to a hog than any other explosive. If I knew it would've been like this I would've just bought COD:MW or BF. Not to forget that 343 is in DENIAL of all of the comments people make and deletes it. Absurd.
