Slowly but surely improving my helicopter skills in RS2:V. Get the occasional "Ew a level 10" on spawn, but they get over it when they see these skills... sometimes.
Do you use flight sticks or anything like that?
This was keyboard mouse. I use flight stick in other games tho.

Thanks man! And it really is all in the wrist haha. I use the DPI staging in my mouse to crank sensitivity when I'm at the controls.
Using auto hover in this game basically is your death sentence, so almost no one uses it. Its all about the J-hooks and landing flares.
A tip is to lower collective when you pull up since that makes sure that you bleed speed but also don't gain altitude
Honestly your flying is better than most, you have potential as a transport pilot main.
I enjoy the RS2 flight mechanics quite a bit!
I'm lovin' those skills! I've honestly never seen voice communication from a Huey pilot like that in game, until I stumbled upon this channel. Nice work on that feat. Also, if you are still in the process of improving your flight skills, then I suggest you watch the videos from the Darth Jezus channel. I've studied their movements for a while, and I put them to the test in game (Training mode) and they actually come in handy! Like I said before, I highly suggest you watch them if you haven't already. Keep doing what your doing, and most importantly, have fun while doing it.

In some situations you are still a bit to high and to slow, but overall thats some impressive flying.
If you can get your J-hooks done a bit faster and lower, then no one should have anything to complain about your flying.
They’ll still find ways to complain, but he could take solace in the fact that he’d be better than a majority of pilots
The players that only complain and put all the pressure on the pilot are the worst.
There are situations where the huey is fucked and there is nothing one can do, but still the pilot gets the blame as if he did it on purpose.
Dat Sam As a person who mains the transport pilot role, those people are the bane of my existence. I’ve had games on resort where I land flawlessly at the start of the match behind the rocks on A. Sit there as a huey spawn. They’re still unable to take A and somehow that’s my fault smh

Absolutely love this game, I just got it yesterday and immediately started to learn the helicopters, right now I’m working on getting faster at landing because right now I’m kinda slow but I’ve definitely improved
I see you've been using a lot of slomo in your videos lately, which is awesome but not a fan of the audio it creates. The windows video viewer has a super nice slomo feature that let's you cut small clips into slomo with very cinematic sounding audio that resembles shellshock. It's fun to play around with, but just a suggestion. Cheers!
as much as i’ve tried to get the hang of the controls i still think the BF4 heli controls are the best
BF4 helis were so much fun... and super OP in the hands of the right person.

@@ControlledPairsGaming I've been playing the red orchestra series since RO1 love the gun play. I think one thing this game missed as well as RO2 is squad leader play. Squad and PS have that squared away and it's amazing.

Looks really cartoony this game and landing bouncing off concret cant do that in real life they should fix mechanics in this game and it would be more realistic and immersive. Squiad is more realistic
