When I doxed and called a FISA judge when he signed off on a blanket warrant for all verizon cutomers. I had a federal marshall show up when I was gone and left a card. They also knew 1.) if Adam WAS the guy in the photo and denied it, there would be another charge if he lied 2.) if Adam WAS the guy in the photo and admitted it, he'd probably be arrested there 3.) if Adam WAS the guy and refused to answer, they would simply dig deeper based on the unwritten rule: "refusing to answer makes one a suspect"
ALSO, this could be a pretextual encounter; they may be looking for other evidence unrelated to the Jan 6, trespassing event, checking things out for a future raid, getting a feel for Adam's state of mind pre-raid/relationship-building, building rapport to develop Adam as an informant.
Keep in mind, these are the same types of folks that contacted Adam SAVAGE (Mythbusters) because some idiot called the government after learning that he as building a "thermal detonator" - a prop replica from a fictional movie - Star Wars. Ridiculous, but true.

You've seen his badge number and FBI ID. For a civil rights felony warrant you would need to see his driver's license home address phone number and date of birth. This civil rights warrant will cost you approximately $20 at your local County clerk's office. If you cannot afford a prosecutor feel free to prosecute them yourself. Badges don't grant extra rights.
