Great job buddy, my blower suddenly wouldn’t run, checked the spark arrester and found a mud dobber had made a nest in the exhaust. Cleaned it out, good as new, thanks.
Yep, first thing you should do when buying any Stihl string trimmer, blower, etc. is to cut off the spark arrester screen or remove it. Making them run like crap in no time is all they're good for. If you still have the spark arrester you removed, cut the screen off flush and put the round piece back in. That'll fix your oil leaking.
