I remember buying packs of this trying to get Jose Cruz Jr rookies. He was the next ‘can’t miss’ prospect of the hobby. Lol
No kidding, he was quite the chase back then over his like Beltre and Halladay. Prospecting is a tough business! I made a whole video series last year about the biggest prospect busts from my young collecting years...Cruz was definitely featured!
I remember him well. I tried prospecting around 2010 and ended up going all in on Taylor Guierri and spent over 20k on every 2011 chrome auto, refractor, and colored refractor that came up on ebay. I have dozens of them that are practically worthless. Was hoping for a Tim Lincecum type guy. Ended up getting a young Robert Downey Jr.

That would be nice, funny enough it was the only card that had a rough cut from the entire box when I looked back through!
