Jeff, I've been running ACAD since 1987. There has never been a training session that you have ever taught, where I don't learn something new!! LOL. thanks so much. You tube has been proliferated with thousands of videos for green horns. finally I find the 30-min workout series, and its so nice to have some content developed for experienced operators.

Priceless content! As someone who never used Vanilla AutoCAD but started my career straight away in Civil 3D (which I think has benefited me greatly with regard to my learning all the ins and outs of Civil 3D) I find I am often slowed up by the basic (often tedious) AutoCAD tasks every project still requires. These sessions are goldmines to a user like me as they reveal more efficient workflows that I would have never found on my own or even on the Autodesk Knowledge Network as I wouldn't have known what to look for. Very awesome and generous of you to share. Greatly appreciated.

Decided to visit these comments in the middle of my work day to thank you. I've already used the search tool in the header several times and have been copying layouts with the cntrl+click drag a lot. Seriously love these videos! Despite using CAD for several years I JUST realized that I can pan orthogonally by clicking pan, and then holding shift. Normally combos with clicks you hold the key down first, which would result in a 3D rotate. My point in this being, that perhaps navigation should be a portion of a future video. Seems like something super basic, but that makes it easy to overlook things. Big thanks Jeff! Love these videos.

Hi Jeff, I there a way to populate a table with the autocad components for an intersection design like a roundabout,. We ended up list each one individually and manually populating a table. Please advise. I did not want to make alignments for each piece of curbing, etc. but needed to just select and item and populate a table with it. Thanks for all your help.

I've saved hours of time by making an auto-keynote script in dynamo / utilize several lisp commands as well as a "Razer - Orbweaver" which allows all my keys to be CAD commands. I like the pallets on the left hand side are accessible in a 'ribbon style', rather than stacked or auto-hidden. Is this a setting or variable somewhere?

hello friend, I have a few questions related to civil 3d.
like this. Can Civil 3D create two surfaces at once and calculate the volume based on the center line that was made? then cross-section can be displayed both pieces from the first surface and the second surface in one working drawing at the same time with each volume per station
