That was your very interesting article, here are a few more tips on how to learn Hindi… Set realistic goals, don’t just dive in and say “I want to be fluent in Hindi within 1 year”, give yourself short term goals which lead up to long term goals. E.g. Short Term Goal = “I want to learn all about this topic in 1 month” and Long Term Goal = “I aim to be able to speak about at least 12 topics within the next year. Make time, you will need to set some time aside, preferably on a daily basis, so you can achieve your goal. I highly recommend blocking out actual time on your calendar every day and really commit to this. Think of it as an appointment with your doctor that you wouldn’t consider missing. That is exactly how you should treat this task. As little as 20 minutes a day is a great start. Immerse yourself in the language, meet Hindi speaking friends, listen to the radio, watch a show on TV, and try to read the newspaper. Even if you do not 100% understand the content, keep it as a daily exercise and you will eventually make sense of it all. The other great news is this listening exercise is the only way to improve your accent. Your brain will process all the information and you will notice the improvement with time. Have a practice buddy, keep yourself motivated and accountable by practicing Hindi with a friend. It is always a good strategy to practice the language with someone who is fluent and non-judgmental. I have a friend who practices Hindi with me and I practice English with her. (I learned about these and more on Presto Speaker Shortcut site )
interesting points ,if anyone else wants to discover hindi basic words try Presto speaker shortcut (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my mate got excellent results with it.
I like the presentation of repeating English words/sentence again. Sometimes you may lost/miss listening English word & u can't adjust that 3seconds backward.
'How are you?' in Hindi it's written "kaise hai aap?" But in romanized, it's the other way round (aap kaise hai?). The same for the next sentence. In Hindi it's written "kaise ho tum" but in romanized it's "tum kaise ho". Also I just wonder if the new learner will understand the words inside the braces (vinamr and dostaana).
Dear Friends- I want to make video that sans academics ie it shall teach the actual Hindi that is spoken that can be of great help. The purpose is to empower people to understand the Hindi talk and to reply. Though language is such a thing that requires 7:28 years of practice and learning, however, looking to practical needs this can be made entertaining and funny as well. I am a native Hindi speaker and would love to have feed back on this topic.❤

Nicely done, but the pitch modulation between the two voice could have been much better. Hindi pitch too high, whereas English is too low and soft. Unable to listen to this during bed time.
