- "I can confirm that the United States provided Ukraine with long-range ATACMs at the President's direction," US State Department spokesman Vedant Patel tells reporters. Biden "quietly directed his national security team to send ATACMs to Ukraine for use inside Ukrainian sovereign territory in February. They started moving as part of the military aid package we announced on March 12th," Patel adds.

The admin didn't use the NSC (Ret rear admiral Kirby) or Pentagon (Maj Ryder) spokesperson. They didn't even use the spokesperson for the State department, Matt Miller.
Vedant Patel is Principal Deputy Spokesperson for the State Department.

Peace... Indeed... But, Zelensky also bears some responsibility in this conflict. While Putin is the primary culprit, Zelensky is not entirely blameless-for instance, actions like severing the gas line and the attacks on civilians by his elite units. Despite this, the U.S. continues to support him.

Russia is self antagonising and started the war. Most of the money gets spent in the us, and the other 99.9% is more than enough to address social issues at home (if only you’d vote for people that would do that).
@helveticaification hitler did not have the worlds largest store of nuclear weapons. Russia has warheads so powerful now that for example just one of them could wipe out the entire UK and the rest of the world will follow.
There will be no winner's if Russia is prevoked further and you and i and millions of other's and our families will perish whilst those that have stoled the fires of the war will sit safe in tax payer funded bunkers.

This was reported a week ago on Military Summary. Most ATACMS were shot down but a few got through to the airbase in Crimea. At least one S-400 system was destroyed, and some planes were damaged (SU-30 and SU-24). Zelensky was very proud of it and spoke highly of it the next morning. Of course, the next night RU sent twice as many Tornado-S to Ukraine and this was the spectacular wipeout of many Mig-29s where we could clearly see the airburst of the cluster warhead taking out Migs and the S-300 guarding the base. Zelensky was quiet about this one though....
