A reset is needed when you own everything in the game and have done every mission over 100 times
That’s why gaming should be done in moderation. All online services will come to an end. I knew this in 2013 so I took my sweet time grinding money and got everything I could ever need in the game without losing my abs and precious hours of my life which would’ve been wasted grinding away. You look at people like the Professional, total dork, all that time getting to 1bil on GTA that could’ve been used working out, working on his broken ass speech pattern, etc. That’s the trap of gaming addiction

Let’s remember that they purchased 5M and RedM, they definitely wanted to get cuts of the role-play servers revenue but It makes sense that they might add certain features from role play servers into GTA 6 online.

Not true. GTA 6 is still the most anticipated game of all time, and it looks like a massive improvement. We already know the map will be at least 2x the size, and that the graphics will be better and there's a bunch more features. The game will be insane

Why do ppl think that having GTA 6 means deleting GTA 5? It’s not like the moment u download GTA 6, they’re gonna automatically uninstall GTA 5 from ur console. Ppl could just keep playing both games. I think that’s the most logical solution. You don’t have to delete one in order to have the other. You can have both and play both without losing any progress, or maybe I am rlly missing smth here but I doubt that 😂🤷🏻♀️
1. You will get to keep all character features, cars, properties, ext….
2. These “future vehicles” will get deleted from the store.
3. Vice City will become a 🥈 location you can visit via airport or personal galaxy super yacht as “teleport points.”
4. If you want a fresh start, you can simply create a new character/delete your current character.
This is what I believe will happen. Rockstar practically made GTA Online a standalone title for this very reason. If I had spent 10 years grinding in a game, building my character from the ground up just for it all to disappear, I’d be pissed.
In my opinion they should just tac on all your assets and the current map to the next map in online. Just retexture all the old stuff and have it added to the next online and keep our current stuff

I think it will simply be called gta online 2. I think it would make sense to be free to play.
I don't think progress from gta online should roll over to the next game. It should kinda make you start from the beginning.
Why? So u can spend 6-10 yrs grinding and building up a new acct just to have to do it again whenever they make GTA 7? Nahh they needa make it to where u can switch it over and just expand on a few things

Breh low key since it’s pretty much a new city it should begin with a cutscene of you flying in frm los santos into the new city maybe saying something on the plane so it’s like new city fresh start. Cool idea tbh. Face scan should also be a thing cuz I actually want my character to look like me.
And online better be included in the full game we better not have to buy online gt6 after buying the full game

Gta 5 online actually did release a month after The Story mode. So the same could happen with gta 6 online. Anyways what I think they'll do is I don't think u will be able to transfer your character. Instead since we been playing for years building up our character and since we'll likely be using our same social club Rockstar will likely just give us the amount of money we had in 5 and our rankings to. Like I'm a rank 335. Say I creat my character in the new gta online it says would u like to start at rank 335 or ask u if u wanna keep ur progress. Then u click yes and u start where u left off. They can actually do it like that. Like u said it can go eather way👍🏻
Terrible take, why would they do that? economy in 5 is absolutely destroyed, you expect them to release new game and send you to end game? what would be the point of playing it? what about mod menus? right now you can get level 8000 with a single click, same goes for money. I am willing to bet every cent on my name there is not going to be any progress transfer.

@@berseli5783 this is one thing nobody understands. A very small percentage of people think they'll be a character transfer system of some sort. For crying out load this is Rockstar. They have surprised us countless times. They have also let us down to but thats not the point. The point is Its 2023 and with technology and resources these days Rockstar can indeed do something like this. Like I said there's very small percentage of people that think there will be some sort of a transfer system. And the reason why I think there will be one is for that reason. Nobody thought we'd get any trailer in December but boom were getting one. Rockstar can surprise us in any way.

I can actually see GTA Online remaining and while GTA VI being a new map players from the original game can migrate over but have to establish themselves before they could say start bringing resources from Los Santos, cars, aircraft, weapons etc. Like maybe players needing to get a hold of a large hanger for a large aircraft or a sizable dock for a ship that could carry significant goods. Once they get those into vice city they become major boses new players to GTA VI have to contend with. So now you would have not only players competing and fighting each other but you now have players from a different city who are established weapons smugglers, drug lords, mercs, or mob leaders now encroaching and new players to GTA VI with nothing but literally the clothes on thier backs are literally competing against. So older gta players are now the crazy bosses you had to compete or fight against in the main storylines
That would be awesome, cool ideas!

Yo sum I’ve never seem someone mention is the powers. For example in gta 5 story mode you have a power for each character but it’s not online. I feel like if the gta 6 protagonists have a power you should be able to choose through whatever powers you see in story to use online.
How exactly do you expect to slow time online?
@@deyd.8659 😭never sed defy time 🤡. I used them as an example. Obviously slowing time isn’t possible common sense would’ve told you nothing like slowing time or flying or sum shii. There could be other powers that don’t defy shii like laws of physics since you a scientist now. For example Trevor he just tanks damage. Or some sort of aim boosting skill. Maybe a skill where the mf just gained more common sense🤷♂️ just throwing it out there ✌️
Really hope for a classic GTA IV style free mode. All the monthly DLC is under neath all the other DLCs, and when you’re unable to play, you can’t spend the millions needed for those new DLC. A casual free mode, no money, guns all over the map, the mod shops act as pay n sprays and all interiors opened. Stress free fun with your friends. But it won’t happen, they can’t make money off of it…

Doubt it, they'd only shutdown gta5online if they've made more than enough because if gta6 fails, they are gonna rely on 5. So them keeping 5 online active would make sense since they can still make money off it espeically to people who haven't got a ps5 or may not be able to buy gta6 straight away
