I really appreciate the effort put into producing this video. It provided me with a clear and comprehensive understanding of the topic. The content was well-structured, informative, and easy to follow. Thank you for creating such a valuable resource.
hi, i'm working on track geometry system for 2 years. i'm reporting defects of track geometry, rail wear, eq.conicity and corrugation. and reporting graphics of course. what is your measurement system's name? what country is it from? i would like to chat about the work we do and the systems we use.
Hello, nice introductionary video to this topic. Please would advise where I can find out how the track measuring equipment works? Also where would I find out the acceptable tolerances to defects? Specifically, I am interested in track alignment, twist faults and gauging. Many thanks, regards D
That is a good question. I am sure there will be something on Network Rails website. Try searching PLPR. In the UK the tolerances are stated within the Track Maintenance Standard
if anyone's brain was tickled the right way by the curve transitions and so on, i got ya; ua-cam.com/video/jvPPXbo87ds/v-deo.html it's a video about the continuity of splines by freya holmer i hope @thepwayengineer doesn't mind me linking from a smaller channel to a bigger one🙈
not at all, looks like an interesting video i will give a watch! At the end of the day my aim is to help people learn, so anything that helps is always appreciated

In the UK there are a few different types I believe. The latest is Plan Line Pattern Recognition
Please make a complete video about curves and calculations and points and crossings about Indian railway
More videos on curve design are in the pipeline!
