  • @wulf_au3593

    I've had mine for a few weeks now. One thing that irks me is that I have to be in hear through mode to activate the step count. Having the choice would be ideal. Most phone calls while wearing these have ended up switching back to the phone due to a lack of voice clarity through the Jabra mic. They are super comfortable and with the correct fit they stay in position well, the only time mine seem to move around is when lying on the bench press where I usually have to give them a firm press to push them into the ear canal. I have experienced no connection issues at the moment (current firmware) and no A/V sync issues. Yes, they do sound amazing.

I must say the only question I have as far as audio quality is I wonder how they stack up with Beoplay which I’m a huge fan of but I didn’t want to spend about $100 more. And the Bose. These two brands I’ve known to have rich smooth base but these Jabra earphones do have incredible sound in every other area! I didn’t really buy them for best sound all around so they are good enough.

    Thanks for the video. I've been using them since a month now & I find the following salient points for potential buyers
    -- great audio, fit & ease of use esp while taking calls, listening to audios & videos.
    -- one must use right earpiece, right acts as a master which simply eliminates the use of left one.
    -- noise cancellation is not consistent during calls.
    -- being a bit heavy, you feel the difference in your ears when you use it for more than 20-30 mins.
    -- BT connectivity with the devices is instant

    The microphone doesn't cancel any noise at all. Neither does the Active Evolve 65T does any better noise cancellation. I have been using the active 65t for several months now and always have issues with other end in the call complaining about noise while I am outdoor with moderate traffic / crowd.On the other hand it works great when I am indoor without any noise - infact crystal sharp sound picked up by the mic during calls.BTW the evolve Active 65T only additional is the blue tooth dongle that can help you pair your laptop or give better bt range. Not really worth for the huge price difference between these two models, I see no improvement in the noise cancellation at all with the enterprise edition.

    The non active ones are on a labor day weekend sale for $129.99 at best buy. Went to go get some today but they didn't have any in stock, luckily the workers there didn't know the difference between the active and non active version (they thought it was just a color difference) so I got the active version for that insane price!! So far they sound better than my Jaybird X3 and fit well. I really like the ambient noise option because I can wear them at work and not have problems talking to coworkers.

    If you see this, can you comment on how the coating affects fit/stability in the ear compared to the 65t? I thought it was advertised to have a more rubber like feel for a more stable fit.
    Also, in your opinion is it worth upgrading if you already have the 65t? I'm personally not overly concerned with the fitness tracking, more so with the coating/fit etc. (not to say I have any issues with the 65t fit)

    These are the best right now, if I had to change a couple of things, I would have a latch/button to open case, I dropped the case once and case opened on impact and buds went flying in different directions, lucky I wasn't near a sewer gutter. In my opinion they are slippery in hand I wish the case and buds had that non slip rubber coating like the icox2018 and jabra sport elite have, I thought the active version would have it, being active with sweat. Last thing would be USB-c all my devices use this now a days.

    Did I really watch this whole video & he didn’t talk about one of the most important things..
    to me anyway.. What about audio & video latency, I watch a lot of UA-cam & Netflix while travelling so this is very important to me. Many wireless earbuds have delay issues. Unlike music where you have no time reference, watching video of someone speak & the lip sync is off can be very distracting & annoying..

    • @briansun6336

      SparkyMTB He didn’t talk about it simply because there is no issue and he didn’t realize he should put this into the video. I saw one comment on the earbuds’ amazon page says there is a delay. But I personally never experience it. I have three pairs of Bluetooth headphones and I use them mostly for video watching and podcasts, they all work fine and no perceivable delay.

      @@ebpman It is constant audio friction. Similar to when a wire from a wired pair hit the body and you can hear it through the headphone. It is kinda strange as I haven't seen any other comment about this, which makes me think I am wearing them incorrectly? I thought it may be because the earphone itself is not just 'in-ear' and is touching the outer ear causing the friction, but seems I am alone with this issue, and therefore could be faulty.

    Recently acquired the Jabra elite 65t and this paired quickly with my iPhone but is not picked up by my iMac, MacBook Pro and iPad 2. Not able to find out info on the website to help other than saying to make sure the iMac has bluetooth on board. My iMac uses wireless keyboard, Magic Mouse and bluetooth headphones which work normally the iMac. Any advise on how to achieve connection ? I enjoyed your review of the earbuds very much. Humphrey.

    Any idea when these are being released? Videos from January this year show Jabra reps claiming they will be out in "a month or two", ie March. Very very late.

      I reached out to them a while back and the release date was pushed to May 25th (today). The BW version shown in the video is BestBuy exclusive and available on their site NOW. The original blue/gold version is on Amazon but won't ship for another 2 weeks. I'm waiting on the latter. Cheers!

    I love my Motorola VerveOnes+ and it's mobile app and EQ settings and fitment in my ears.. I also love the charging case that is small for my pocket or backpack to store as I don't like things in my pockets.. I use Two or Three of them for both my Phones or PC I use the VerveLoop+ on my PC for Video listening than the EarBuds on Video setting... I use the Left EarBud for Video on my Phones...

      I have a question for you. Do you prefer the AirPods or the Jabra? And do you use iPhone? Because one of my points for me probably buying the AirPods is the ease of access for iPhone users. But 65T active has the 2 year warranty.

      I also have an active lifestyle and am looking for ones for lifting weights, so fit is slightly important but I don’t do lots of distance running. AirPods are not rated sweat-resistant but people say they are.

    The call quality sounds great, but how is the latency for movies, I know alot of the true wireless buds have a delay for movies and that's primarily why I would want a pair of these for long train rides

    • @JoLT53
      @JoLT53 5 років тому

      I hear there could be some video and audio delay with Apple products mainly but Android phones work fine. I have read and watched many reviews on the Jabra Elite 65t and Jabra Elite Active 65t and the only people who said there was latency were people using iPhone's whereas people using Android phones such as Samsung S8, Google Pixel's, OnePlus 6+6T all say there is no latency.

  • @indonesiaamerica7050
    @indonesiaamerica7050 5 років тому

    What happens with active users that drop an ear piece while on a motorcycle or bike ride? My 45e set sounds really great and I know the wire is "annoying" but it also means you have a (more convenient) place for the controls and a lanyard that keeps you from losing your gear if you use it on the road. I would only consider an upgrade for use indoors if the sound tested much better than the already excellent 45e.

  • @pg566

    I read that it can be traced if lost, BUT only when it lies at the same place and is charged. If it is moved to far place and if without charge it can not be traced (I understand).
    Is there any app or system to negate these disadvantages ?

  • @scottwagner646

    Do both the left and right earbud have a microphone? Where I work it's generally better to keep one ear open which makes it easier to keep one charged while using the other, but that won't work if you can't answer a call from both sides.
