This has been a huge selling trailer for Forest River. I've personally purchased this trailer twice, once when it first came out (had less features then, no ducted a/c, less storage, no glass shower), and once as a more decked out trailer like you see in this video (minus the new curved cap). The only flaw (we found out on our sevond purchase of this model) with this trailer is the Dometic roof vent turned long ways across the back of the trailer (because of the fridge in the rear of the coach). This vent will allow water to come in during a heavy rainstorm when driving down the road, as my wife and I found out, we had water all over the floor when we stopped. Dometic either needs to change this vent design or you will need to purchase a different vent cover such as a Camco cover. Forest River has tried a variant of this trailer by putting a murphy bed with dinette in the front, but it wasn't very popular, as it takes away from the front storage. As far as price (U.S.), this trailer has come up over the years. We paid $16,700 for the first one, and $21,000 for the second one, and now it sells between $28,000 to $30,000. With Covid and supply and demand, has steadily increased prices of all RVs. If I considered this trailer today, I would recommend buying the 22FBS, as it's almost identical, but gives you the electric fireplace, and larger tv. Overall, except for the one minor flaw, it is a great couples coach, and personally Forest River builds good middle of the road RVs such as Flagstaff, Rockwood, Coachmen, and Salem, to name a few. I wish everyone an enjoyable rv/camping experience, take care.
I never realized that coachman was a forest river product. I currently have a coachman catalina travel trailer and didnt even no it was a FR product till you mentioned it in your comment. What makes me feel better now is the fact that me and my wife have narrowed our upgrade search to either a freedom express or a flagstaff travel trailer. Now knowing coachman is a FR product it makes me feel a little better about my choices. Although I would prefer the Flagstaff over a coachman trailer im wondering what your opinion of the two brands are?
Love your travel trailer reviews and lam looking forward to more in the future. I just bought a 2021 Micro Lite 25BRDS which is a slightly larger (25' 11") unit with double over double bunks. The Micro Lite's are nice quality units and we are very pleased so far, even though we have only taken 2 trips with approximately 1000 total miles of towing with a 2020 Silverado LT 4x4 crew cab short bed with an Andersen no-sway WDF hitch.
That’s an old model trailer. They updated them in the middle of 2020. They also switched to double Azdel construction and significantly updated the nose cap.
Morning Howard..not sure how much trailer camping they'll let us do this year my friend..but the product is great!!!. Awesome presentation Howard!!😃 Enjoy the day!
The problem now is there is no more camp sites to park that unit due to limited sites and they are all booked (full) .May find something even way up North of Thunder Bay . From southern Ontario that would be a good 20 to 25 hours to find a site🧐
Great review Howard. Has FOREST RIVER completely ditched the China 🇨🇳 bombs and went with GOODYEAR ENDURANCE trailer tires? I swapped ours out on our ROO 2 years ago FR was being cheap and putting on those dreaded Castlerocks. I am glad they came to their senses. I think the GOODYEAR tire is excellent.
Good review. The tow vehicle desperately needs tow mirrors. Do any of the midsize trucks allow for a remote camera to be connected to the back of the trailer for rear view? I know some of the full size trucks do now.
Just know that Forest River has a 1.3 star rating out of 5 with the Better Business Bureau. They make crappy campers that fall apart and then they refuse to pay for any of the repairs. They are pretty flashy in a video, but once the water starts leaking in it takes all the zeros off your investment. Buyer Beware.

Worked as a salesman at a Rv dealership and hands down flagstaff had the best quality. Right there with Montana’s
I like the door behind the couch. Good for small tool bags and stuff you want access too from inside or outside the coach
I love that you all do these I love watching about campers thanks for keeping them going!! Love your channel.
Appreciate it! We've got plenty of camper videos planned, so stay tuned.
I really like this trailer

Great video Stephen's dad can't wait for some bigger trailer reviews.
Howard
“And after they’ve slept on that, they won’t ever bother you again...”. If only that were true. Heh
I got one last month and love it but within 2 weeks the glass cover of the Magic Chief stove explode in the open position
I love mine!!!

Just purchased one.
Nice. I'd sure like to have it.
Can you easily make this completely solar powered?

Awesome vid!!!!

Many FOREST RIVER products are pre-wired for a back up camera. You can use it all the time with parking/headlites ON.
Just purchased a 2019 model any feed back I’m a rookie at this.
Go slow - check everything twice - and have fun!
What's the price?
Selling for $30,700 CAD at Gimme Shelter RV.
@@TruckKing $24,760 USD seems like a great deal. I just purchased a somewhat similar preowned 2019 Winnebago 2106DS for $20,500.

What do you recommend in comparison?
BBB is a “ paid for” rating company. Don’t believe anything you read from them.
Price?
He does say at end. $30 700
Why is there such a disparage in pricing some places i've seen it for 21k others 32k is the market that predatory?
Yes it is. RVs are hot - dealers will gouge. Sad.
No outside kitchen.... that is a deal breaker...
Already forgot about the covid scam sometime ago ;)
POS!
