I'm really glad you decided to put this video up despite your concern about your voice because i started to miss your content. I hope you're feeling better tho 🩷
Ooh this is such a good summer tbr!! 🌻 I hope you’re feeling better 💕 I really liked the house across the lake, I feel like it’s one of his crazier ones haha I also need to read done and dusted soon!
Thank you ☺️ I am feeling a lot better! 💕 I just started House Across the Lake last night. I didn't get too far, but that first "Now" chapter has me SO curious to see how the books going to play out! 👀
So glad to see you back! I'm glad to see you're doing a little bit better 💕 Totally relate to wanting to be a mermaid as a kid, I loved just swimming underwater and feeling the water in my hair. 🥰 Favorite read for July was either The Honey Witch or That's Not My Name
I still need to get The Honey Witch! That seems like it'll be a cozy read for the fall ☺️🍂 ...even thought the cover is shouting SPRING from the rooftops lol
@@jenseereads ooo I could definitely see that. I think my brain automatically classifies anything with a cute cottage as instant Fall vibes. And I will try to patiently wait to hear your thoughts on the book 🤣
I just got over being sick so I feel your pain. I hope you feel better soon! I love Done and Dusted and Just for the Summer. I hope you love them both!
I feel like so many people are sick right now 😮💨 Happy to hear you aren't sick anymore! Those two books are going to be some of the first books I read this month, I'm really excited about them! ☺️📖☀️
Hope you're feeling better now and that you will enjoy your reading during August ❤ I also feel like August is the last summer month even though summer ends towards the end of September 🙈 I'm so excited for autumn though 🍂👏
Thank you! I am starting to feel better ♥️ It's funny, a week ago I was excited to have one more super summer filled month...but now I'm SO ready for Autumn and the holiday season lol 🍂☕️ ☃️
Wow, August is already here. And no, your voice sounds good, I hope you are doing well now. This month's TBR is interesting as I have never heard many of the book's names in this list. PS: I am feeling really demotivated as college is so hectic and I am barely holding on. I didn't read any novels last month so I don't know if I will be reading any this month.
Right!? I feel like it should only be like March or something, this year is flying by lol And thank you, I'm feeling a lot better now! ☺️ I'm sorry things are feeling hectic! I hope things get less stressful for you soon 🤗💕
Sorry that you are sick. Hope that you’re feeling better. Your voice did not sound bad at all on this recording so don’t feel bad about that. Great TBR!
I hope you get better soon 😊 Love the idea of different colored prompts with different meanings I just finished him by sarina bowen and elle kennedy and loved it moved on to the next book called us and loving it And i just thrifted a bunch of books including IT by stephen king and i know it is summer but i want to start it heard nothing but amazing things about it but my copy is more than a 1000 pages 😂 Also we have the same book on our august TBR just for the summer and i really wanne read it because if i don't i will have to wait until next summer 😅 Happy reading ❤
Thank you! I'm starting to feel a little better ☺️ Ahh an 1000 page book sounds so intimidating 😬 But I'm also starting to get into the thriller spooky mood even though we still have a good amount of summer left 😋 I am SO ready for Fall 🍂☕️ Just For The Summer is probably going to be one of the first books I read this month, because if I don't get to it I'll end up putting it off until next year too and I don't want to do that lol Happy Reading!! 📖✨
Hope you're feeling better by now! I listen to people who are sick every day at work, so your voice didn't bother me at all. My favorite book of July was All Rhodes Lead Here by Mariana Zapata and for August I'm most excited to read The Adventures of Amina al-Sirafi by Shannon Chakraborty. Getting in the last of my "summer" tbr done as well. 😊
I am starting to feel better, thank you! 💖 aww ok All Rhodes Lead Here sounds right up my alley, definitely need to add that to my list! And I'd love to know how you end up liking The Adventures of Amina Al-Sirafi. I've seen that book a ton and it sounds cool...but for some reason it intimidates me lol
@jenseereads I loved it so much. And I really appreciated that it was older characters in their 30/40. I completely understand being intimidated. That's why I've had it over a year and am just now getting to it lol. I think fantasy is just like that. I just got done with Assassin's Quest by Robin Hobb. It was 864 pages and it took me like 10 days to read. It was so worth finishing off this last book in the first series of The Realm of the Elderlings.
@@meganshultz8909 That's me with Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson. I've had that sitting on my shelves for way too long 😬 I mostly read fantasy romance, so I'm really excited to get into high fantasy...but also a little nervous. But I've got it in my head that I have to read it by the end of fall, so we'll see how it goes!🤞🏻
@jenseereads I love epic fantasy, but it's definitely one of those ones you have to work yourself up to lol. I need to finish Mistborn as well. I'm on the last book and it's taking me too long. This is my year of finishing and continuing on in these big series. It's hard 😂
@@meganshultz8909 LOL big book after book book definitely sounds like quite the goal! 😋Because of my channel I get kind of stressed sometimes staying in the same series or book too long, but there's also something really nice about casually pacing yourself through a really good book ☺
but you don't sound gross at all, you do sound sick, yes. but not gross. I hope you're feeling better now - or eventually, depending on when this was filmed. July was a pretty darn good reading month and I enjoyed all of them, one of my favourites was actually Chlorine. In my review I said that I thought it was going to be kind of dark and quirky, but I actually found it to be uncomfortable and heartbreaking.
LOL I almost stopped filming about 5 times and I almost re-filmed it...BUT I liked my tbr too much 😂 And thankfully I am starting to feel better! ☺️ Love that you had such a good reading month!! Chlorine sounds so interesting, but I'm scared I'm not going to like it, especially if you describe it was heartbreaking. **Ok, I just listened to an audio book sample of it and I was disappointed when it stopped, so it's at least starting off strong! I think I might have to see if my library has it so I can try before I buy 😋
@@jenseereads trying before you buy is probably for the best. there were a couple of scenes or maybe just one that made my whole body tense and cringe. so be prepared, but overall the thing that made me feel that way wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

i've read the house across the lake very quick and enjoyable!💚
Happy to hear it!! I've had that book in the back of my mind for 2 years, so I'm worried I hyped it up too much in my head lol
@@jenseereads its nothing groundbreaking but it was quick and enjoyable fs
Feel better soon ❤❤ reading and lying on the couch is the only thing I want to do when I’m sick!! Your TBR jar is so fun!! 🫶
Thank you ♥️ Haha that's literally all I've done all week, read and sleep 🤒 but it's the best medicine, because I am starting to feel better 😋

I left at minute 7… second prompt! Argh!
I usually get through the prompts a lot quicker than that, but I blabbered on with that one lol
