One of the things I really like about this remake is how the text scrolling helps you to visualize how the character sounds when speaking. It’s small, but it’s a nice touch!
Yeah, I agree! One line that always jumped out at me was when Kammy Koopa (I think) was speaking with Bowser about something she did, and then out of nowhere the text went all wavy and she said something like "...and I was shaking what my momma gave me!" I burst out laughing picturing that one!! 😂😂😂 I swear, the writing in this game is so witty... It may have paper-thin visuals, but in terms of character, the cast is some of the most 3D and fleshed-out in any RPG. Am so glad TTYD game was re-released!
I've watched this whole thing and I can confidently say that this is well done. Quick cuts when cooking and other repetitive scenes, knowledge of all the hidden stuff, on point tattles. This is a definitive guide for sure. Well done.
At 21:47:47-21:48:22, I hated how they treated Luigi here. Toadia’s not a real Luigi fan if she can’t even recognize the fact the real Luigi’s is TALLER than Mario. Mario himself didn’t even help him, what a wasted opportunity to showcase some brotherly love towards him.

But because the demand will take a massive hit. Especially once in Asia and the EU fuel (Benzin, Diesel) powered cars won’t be able to be registered anymore. The depletion of Oil will never (well at least in the next 150 years)be a problem. The decrease of demand will be. We should have reached Peak oil in 2005. But we found more oil fields and many many new methods of extracting oil (fracking for one). Thus making the supply skyrocket Even after we leave fossil fuels as an energy source. Oil wird be still needed for the thermoplast, Duromere and elastomere industrys. Especially also in medicine and food I would rather worry about building a sustainable power grid powered by mostly renewables
I heard nothing but good things about the Thousand Year Door and to see it remade not only faithfully but better than ever was truly amazing! My favorite partners in TTYD are Koops and Goombella! They have a good level of humor and charm!

Starting at 00:00, this is the beginning. I like Mario, Yoshi, Friendly Goomba and Peach But I hate Bowser because he was a monster. At 24:07:05, almost done. Finally, in 25 hours, it's the end.

@@sertank735 I never realized how much better the animations and overall immersion were in the TTYD because I never played it until it came out on the Switch recently. Of course it's been remastered too, but even watching Gamecube footage it's amazing just how much they put into this game. Paper Mario 64 I played entirely through and it's one of my favorite games of all time. I have a feeling as I play through TTYD I'll feel the same way about this one, because it's taking me back to memory lane playing the N64 one.

I’m really happy Nintendo restored that dialogue. As a strong supporter, I think it’s really noble that they brought up the issue of discrimination of the LGBTQ+ community.
As a veteran of the original GameCube version when I was 6, I’ve always considered- well I was too young to understand. But having brought a GameCube and the game on eBay to play it again back in 2023, I heavily accepted Vivian as trans. 🏳️⚧️ W Nintendo. Original STAYS original!
Speaking of Vivian, I'm still shocked that just no one actually expanded on her powers yet, but I'm sure there's one fanfic that did touch on that matter, like she was created by the Shadow Queen, but for what purpose?
I always liked this version of Yoshi. He is my favorite partner in this game. Also, you are amazing to get this out so fast and polished. You nail the timing on the chat bubbles, not too fast and not too slow (and the text is like 90% of the game)

Going from the original to this remake, you can tell Intelligent Systems really tried their best to make this a game everyone will enjoy. It's beautiful, the story is deep and enriching, the characters actually have a character to them; they're not just 1 note characters in any way (Vivian was always my favorite partner, and now even moreso with her story being properly adapted this time!) Overall, an amazing game I'm happy to see more people being able to play! (Also, holy moly the length of this video! I heavily commend and respect your effort for making this, especially so quickly after release!)

I used to have this game for the GameCube, but because I was a stupid 9 year-old back then, I couldn't find the Thousand Year Door, and what's worse was that my GameCube broke and I had to sell all my GameCube games. Now I'm 29 years old and thanks to UA-cam, I can finally beat this game. I bought the remake and now I'm trying to get to Glitzville. So I would like to say, thank you BeardBear, and all the other UA-camrs who played this game who helped me figure out how to beat this game.

I’m so glad that I got to see the Thousand Year Door be remade. One of the greatest trilogies among the original Paper Mario series. And personally, even though he was one of the last partners to achieve, I think I like Admiral Bobbery among them.

Fantastic job getting this out and showing so much care for the remake! A wonderful adventure and amazing cast of characters, and all of the partners hold a special place for me, Ms. Mowz included, but without sounding too obvious Vivian probably stands out as my overall favorite partner. Also incredibly happy with how faithful the game looks to have turned out so far, especially for Vivian, and I can’t wait to be able to introduce my fiancé to this world at some point, as well I’m positive Vivian will be one of his favorite characters as well to get to know.😌
I like Goombella as a partner. Getting the skinny on how much health an enemy has as well as getting extra tid-bits of information like possible weak points or attacks to watch out for can be a real difference maker. Plus, it's also neat to get a little backstory information on the enemy.

Such a beautiful remaster/remake of this masterpiece of a game! Still can't believe it's been 20 years ever since its release on the Gamecube... Out of all the Paper Mario games, this one is definitely my favorite, not to mention the partners, still brings back memories using both Yoshi and Vivian

Here, (again) from the giveaway post! I was watching a bit of this earlier, (hence the "again"), because I was wondering why this game has gotten so much praise. It definitely looks like it deserves it! As for my favourite partner, I like all of them but my favourite is definitely Yoshi kid (he's adorable).
You always manage to impress me with the dedication needed to make these kinds of videos. And my favorite partner is goombella because I like her personality and her tattle ability ( I much prefer knowing the stats of my enemies)
This brings back so many memories. I’m wasn’t born yet when this game came out but I did get to play it on the GameCube that my parents gave me. I remember playing this game for the first time and it was just magical. The graphics, the music, the gameplay, and the story are some of the best I have ever experienced. I may not have been alive to experience this game when it came out, but it holds a special place in my mind and my heart. My favorite partner from this game is the Yoshi kid because I love how he is such a little guy yet packs such a wallop and fighting with him in the Glitzpit was captivating. I’m Yoshi Kid all the way.

As a veteran of the original GameCube version when I was 6, I’ve always considered- well I was too young to understand.

Going from the original to this remake, you can tell Intelligent Systems really tried their best to make this a game everyone will enjoy. It's beautiful, the story is deep and enriching, the characters actually have a character to them; they're not just 1 note characters in any way (Vivian was always my favorite partner, and now even moreso with her story being properly adapted this time!)
Overall, an amazing game I'm happy to see more people being able to play!

I used to have this game for the GameCube, but because I was a stupid 9 year-old back then, I couldn't find the Thousand Year Door, and what's worse was that my GameCube broke and I had to sell all my GameCube games. Now I'm 29 years old and thanks to UA-cam, I can finally beat this game. I bought the remake and now I'm trying to get to Glitzville. So I would like to say, thank you BeardBear, and all the other UA-camrs who played this game who helped me figure out how to beat this game.

I’m so glad that I got to see the Thousand Year Door be remade. One of the greatest trilogies among the original Paper Mario series. And personally, even though he was one of the last partners to achieve, I think I like Admiral Bobbery among them.

Fantastic job getting this out and showing so much care for the remake! A wonderful adventure and amazing cast of characters, and all of the partners hold a special place for me, Ms. Mowz included, but without sounding too obvious Vivian probably stands out as my overall favorite partner. Also incredibly happy with how faithful the game looks to have turned out so far, especially for Vivian, and I can’t wait to be able to introduce my fiancé to this world at some point, as well I’m positive Vivian will be one of his favorite characters as well to get to know.😌

I like Goombella as a partner. Getting the skinny on how much health an enemy has as well as getting extra tid-bits of information like possible weak points or attacks to watch out for can be a real difference maker. Plus, it's also neat to get a little backstory information on the enemy.

Such a beautiful remaster/remake of this masterpiece of a game! Still can't believe it's been 20 years ever since its release on the Gamecube... Out of all the Paper Mario games, this one is definitely my favorite, not to mention the partners, still brings back memories using both Yoshi and Vivian
My favorite partner is Koops. Hands down. Comes out of his shell (pun intended) to save his father, confess to Koopie Koo, and helps save the world. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

This brings back so many memories. I’m wasn’t born yet when this game came out but I did get to play it on the GameCube that my parents gave me. I remember playing this game for the first time and it was just magical. The graphics, the music, the gameplay, and the story are some of the best I have ever experienced. I may not have been alive to experience this game when it came out, but it holds a special place in my mind and my heart. My favorite partner from this game is the Yoshi kid because I love how he is such a little guy yet packs such a wallop and fighting with him in the Glitzpit was captivating. I’m Yoshi Kid all the way.
The Yoshi Kid will always be the greatest, I mean, the colors make them somewhat unique, and I will forever embrace the name of "The Great Gonzales" for Mario
