    I would bet this would be marketed as use case for sleep tracking, possibly remote gestures connected with your AirPods, Watch, iPhone, even the Vision Pro as additional controls.

      Yesss love it. Thanks for sharing. I’m all over remote gestures and think it would be pretty cool

    I would trade in my Oura ring for the Apple ring. Let’s go Apple

    I won't be purchasing the Apple Watch (opting for Garmin instead). However, I would give the Apple ring a try for its a) subtle presence, b) health-tracking features, and c) native iOS integration. When I am not wearing my Garmin watch (which I am yet to purchase), the Apple ring would be the perfect tool to track my health vitals. Hopefully, Apple will release its namesake ring in several color-ways and materials (I am opting for Titanium or any other premium metal). Thanks for the interesting video.

    The ring could be dedicated to tracking blood sugar and display the data on the ring or transmit to the watch, phone or pad.

    I'd rather cut my hand than using apple watch. If they introduce ring I'd definitely buy this. I wanted to buy oura ring but it's quite expensive and requires subsciption

    It’s so Apple fan boys can officially marry Apple. You can book an in store wedding at the Apple store. 😂🤣😂
    It makes sense as a pairing with the Vision Pro for limited haptic feedback and additional gesture control (i.e. spin the ring to scroll). Longer term if people are wearing Apple glasses you don’t need to wear a watch but this could still gather health data when you’re not wearing the glasses.
    Initially though I think there is a large market of consumers that don’t like the Apple Watch but would consider this if the price is right.

    Ring coukd be another verification device. Could be part of an Oxygen sensor system outside Masimo patent. Masimo had some finger sensor to feed smart watch data. Maybe an Apple Pay transmitter.

    What’s you’re missing with the health functions of the watch is the watch can last for a lot longer days even before it needs to be charged the watch not so much and if you put it in PowerSave mode, you’re gonna lose a lot of that functionality

    • @CrazyOnesTechNews
      @CrazyOnesTechNews  6 місяців тому

      This is a decent point. If the ring is a super long battery that’s an advantage over the watch, thanks for sharing!

    Not for a remote or tracking, but for haptic feedback. Think feedback for keyboards etc.

      Adjust an opinion they’re not gonna waste all that tech that they’re putting inside of that for a vibrator for your finger. You do not have no imagination, sir it’s going to be used as a tracking device, a haptic device and a health device like every other smart ring coming out if you actually pay attention to technology, which you do not sir, or else you would know this For the Apple glasses it’s going to probably be more for that than anything to track your hand in real time and the lidar sensors know where your hands are so you can move the screens pause something or anything like that come on it’s 2024. They’re not gonna just put a vibrator on your finger.😂😂😂😂

      I don’t care about filling me typing something, but some people need vibrators I guess😂😂😂😂

    VisionPro can achieve gestures through camera hand and eye tracking. To provide the same functional type of interface but with fewer cameras and less compute a ring or wristband could be paired with an inexpensive technology like Ultra-Wideband (UWB) to deliver position... For pinch gestures, you'd need at minimum two rings on one hand... Keep in mind, Apple's long game is to eventually take the technology we see today in Vision Pro and get to small form eyeglasses. It will be impossible to pack as many cameras in such a device, so the rings may surface down the road as a user interface system.

      But unfortunately, this is a $3500 product that a majority of people aren’t gonna buy because it’s too gimmick it’s made for businesses and professionals not the general public. They’re gonna be bringing out Apple glasses next year and the ring is going to enhance it because it’s gonna have lidar Sensors on it. And it’s gonna track the ring in real time so you can move the screens or type or something

    • @rmzzz76
      @rmzzz76 6 місяців тому

      @@Paul-ng4jx Yes, but you won't see the smaller form Apple glasses coming any time soon. Analyst are saying we may see a $2000-$2500 Vision device similar to Vision Pro in 2025... The small form glasses product 2027-2029 time frame, Meta is on track to have an AR glasses product out in that time frame too.

    The vision pro can already detect hand movements on your lap and in other comfortable positions, but this ring could could be great for more advanced gestures or another thing that I thought is this ring could be used for the more affordable Apple Vision.

    You do know what this ring is gonna be used for right Apple glasses because it’s gonna have Lidor sensors on it net ring instead of using cameras is going to light. Our sensors are gonna track when your hands are in real time to move screens in real time with your Apple glasses, that’s what this thing is gonna be used for other than you know they’re gonna have health features in it too, but it’s mainly going to be used for real hand tracking for the apple glasses

    The Aurora ring can last for up to two weeks before needing to be charged so there are benefits to add health functions to a ring instead of a watch which can last for less than 24 hours depending on if you got always on display on a lot of your settings set up, rightor if you put it in PowerSave mode, it can go for about three days before it needs to be charged and that depends on the capacity your battery has and everything else from age

    🍏
    I THINK THE (APPLE RING)
    WOULD BE MADE THE BEST WAY IF IT HAD A 3D-DISPLAY THAT COMPLETELY WRAPPED AROUND THE RING AND MAGNIFIED THE DISPLAY SO THE DISPLAY WOULD APPEAR TO POP-OFF THE RING AND COULD BE SWIPED TO SWITCH BETWEEN APPS,SONGS,
    TIK TOK VIDEOS AND
    UA-cam SHORTS AS WELL AS OTHER DISPLAY AND MP3 PLAYER CONTENT. IT SHOULD ALSO HAVE SIRI AND A TOUCHSCREEN. IT COULD BE HAPTIC,TAKE VITALS,AND GLUCOSE MONITOR AS WELL AS TAKE YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE AND TEMPERATURE.😊
    IT COULD BE USED WHILE YOUR WATCH IS CHARGING.

    Here are some thoughts:
    Firstly, the Apple Watch could be extended to encompass all functionalities, particularly haptic feedback for the Vision Pro.
    Secondly, the ring would only be practical for those who neither have nor require an Apple Watch but still find use cases within the Apple ecosystem. In such instances, the ring would not be redundant. It can also serve health tracking purposes, function as a remote gesture device for Apple devices, and provide haptic feedback for the Vision Pro's immersive interactive engagement.
    My final thought is that if Apple truly desires, the Apple Watch stands out as the superior option due to its more robust chip for handling computing tasks. Perhaps incorporating a smart wrist band for additional functionality, such as extra sensors or backup battery life, could be considered.

      Don't troll just for the sake of trolling. As an Apple user, I didn't see the need for an Apple Watch until I was diagnosed with sleep apnea. The watch became a crucial wearable in that regard, with the added benefits of serving as a watch and offering other functionalities within the Apple ecosystem, which I had already established with my other Apple devices.
