Summer Birding at Killdeer Plains 4K

On a cool summer morning, I begin a day of Birding at Killdeer Plains Wildlife Area in Wyandot County, Ohio on June 24, 2024. Mating season is pretty much over, and birds are focused on nesting and foraging. Though I hear many species, I see few. The birds prefer retreating to the shade of leafy trees, dense brush and tall grass. But when they make and appearance, I'm ready with my Sony A1 and 200-600mm lens. It's a beautiful day for Birding, and I'm happy to share some tips to make your adventures more productive. "C'mon! Let's go Birding!"

Thank you, johnray424. If I ever do Instagram, I sure will. My brother's surgery has been moved to July 3rd. All things considered, he is doing well.
