Great advice given here! I had no idea about boiling tumeric before processing it! I will heed your advice in boiling them before processing this fall! Fresh from the garden rhyzomes don't need to be peeled imo. I grind them down, spread on a cookie sheet & in the oven at the lowest heat, checking them every 20 minutes or so. When completely dried, I cool and grind them to powder. Last year's harvest almost netted me enough to take 1000mgs capsules daily. Living in freezing temps in winter, I dig them up in late fall, process, and pot up remaining ones in the house for replanting in Spring.
Thank you for sharing this with us. There is so much good in traditional medicine. I cannot wait to try this for my achy feet! Thank you and your mother!
Thank you so much. That was a flawless explanation, putting the science behind curcumin into easy to understand terms. Well done. Oh, and tell your mom she's just precious.
Very nicely explained. The simple way he explains holds your attention to every detail he explains. I am really impressed. God bless and wish you a success in all your endeavors
I had no idea there were so many varieties! I wish I could find some in my local markets to be able to grow it at home. I'm growing ginger and garlic and turmeric would be the perfect addition. I tried your turmeric milk after suffering anxiety attacks and it worked, they completely stopped after a few days. Your videos are so valuable and useful.
Hi Srikanth Thank you for sharing this simple recipe in such an interesting way giving all the important points. I also love watching your videos because of your very soft and soothing voice. May be singing is your another career 😀
Thank you very much, informative and fascinating, I suffer chronic pain from arthritis, I didnt find any help from the supplements, I am ntending to try this tea, I have dried turmeric to use because I do a lot of cooking and use it almost every day, I also have some fresh ginger that I froze, Im on many pain meds so I wont go 'wild' with the amounts 🤣I get so desperate with this pain, I will try anything!
So sorry you have pain. I have RA and osteoarthritis. It's sad to say that most supplements don't contain what they promise. Absolutely try this tea. He's right-nothing beats the whole food for getting the benefits. There can be dozens of compounds in the whole food that work together to get benefits. Supplements are extracts and sometimes they remove the very thing that is helping it work. Do not omit the pepper-it's critical to getting the most from the tea. Two suggestions: Look at this channel www.youtube.com/@NutritionFactsOrg He's a medical doctor who promotes a plant based diet for health and healing. All his recommendations come from scientific studies. Read up on anti-inflammation diets. Reducing inflammation gets at the source of the problem rather than pain meds. Also, look into taking Krill Oil supplements. Do your own research and get a brand that's well-regarded so you are getting the real thing. It works wonders for me. Wishing you good health.
Dats very helpful vdo but doctor told me that once we hv to add turneric n once ginger to get good results on body so not to mix which reduces one's efect . Strange bt true
6 months or even 8 months is ok.. Back in village , we always used to source fresh dry whole Turmeric and grind it . Just an ancient an age old tip..if you get a cut Or bruise apply a pinch of dry turmeric...
