Yeah, that number was a bit too conservative. Even in Michigan, $400 a month will barely cover a single person for groceries. This is supposed to be a family household income.
As an ex middle class worker. The only way to get ahead was to Save and save more. I volunteered for every overtime that was offered to me. At the age of 59, I retired with 2.3 million dollars and a healthy pension with healthcare. Most pension plans don't come with healthcare. 😊
I disagree a little on credit score. It’s important to get good rates on car insurance. My car insurance went up a year ago. I called and discussed why and then asked if they care about credit and the rep on the phone said yes let’s check yours. A few minutes later, my car insurance rate went down, based solely on my credit score being used to make a decision.
I enjoy your videos very much. It’s a deplorable shame these scammers in the comment section hijack your hard work to bilk people out of their money. I will continue to follow your channel because your content is top notch.
Jaspreet, am not easily captivated, you had me hooked listening to you. It’s that you are talking to the audience and not at us. Your animated non formal style keeps one focused to listen to you. I love the hard honest approach with no sugar coating. You have a really good command of the language and definitely not monotoned. Grateful LivLuvLaf Rome
If you have to borrow for a house or car then yeah credit score is important! If you have a lot of cash to buy everything you need then credit score doesn’t mean anything.
Entertainment you should include gas, food (eating out only a couple of times per month)and your subscription services because you only need a couple maybe Netflix or Paramount Plus would be all you need.Going to a football game or concert should also be figured in to your budget.
This is the age of technology , younger people are figuring out other ways , to make money , using it . More and more , are figuring out how not to be a wage slave . Good for them !!!! Lets crash the system .
I was about the say that 1,000/month on a car better be everything that goes into that car, but it makes sense when you add it up that way. I will agree that most people stay at a certain job too long, when they could probably find someone better. Some of the "working to survive" is self inflicted
14:50 true, when everyone is running away from stockman yelling its a scheme, thats the best time to buy stocks. I made x3 buying stocks of Russian companies soon after Russia went to war with Ukraine. And yes, one company fell like 70% after i bought it, but the rest have increased in price like 2-4 times over
Work to Survive. Key three things; Strict budget, Enjoy what you do, Plus free time to thrive. If you can bounce those three things. You're going to make it for sure. No investment necessary. At least money investments, just invested into yourself. I'm 60 and thriving for sure, no down turns seen in the future. Living life and enjoying every minute of it. I look very young, one reason no stress in my life.
@@TikaHemrom One thing, I own my home. So not paying rent or a mortgage. That alone is saving me for sure. I hustle a lot over my regular job. Mainly in the buying and selling department as working at a flea market on the weekends. Currently my regular job is being a caretaker. Working 72-76 hours bi-weekly. I also repair computers and build websites on the side as well.
Here is idea, how about stop majoring in dumb crap with zero market value, living below one's means, and paying off the principle a little at a time until it is gone. Oh, that also means working very hard (As well as intelligent!) At one's occupation. By occupation, I mean producing real tangible value.
Why do you keep saying meme stonks? Is gme a meme stock with 5B cash, no debt? No insider selling the ability to acquire and merge? Come w/ new material.
Decreasing revenue, decreasing profits, decreasing and now negative in operating income in last few years, decreasing EPS. Decreasing net income, increasing common shares outstanding. Decreasing in assets and selling of some stores. Decreasing in cash flows and decreasing cap ex, which might be because they have less stores.. and that’s just what I saw from a Quick Look at the financial statements

Yep, could not have been spoken more truly. Right now... my two biggest expenses eating income... Food and Fuel.
Fuel is not a necessity but food is ok!
@@michaelskala8445your an id10t if you think fuel isn’t a necessity
I watch your channel religiously but $400 for grocery is something even an Aldi can't hack!
Spend under 100$ a week at winco grocery stores. Lol 3x out of the week and once out of the month hit costco.
I'm sure if you only had 400$ a month to spend on groceries you would figure it out. And if your single you definitely good. 🎉
@@jeffaragononly if you’re single tho
Super duper conservative budget for family. Day care anyone?

If You're Happy and comfortable I guess that's not so bad.
The majority of people would rather *play the victim* and *blame others* for their bad situation and the reason they can't improve it. smh

There is no longer, a middle class, and most of us is one paycheck away from homeless.

Jaspreet thanks for the advice but I can't trust you because ( Your a random guy on youtube).

How many people are we talking about
Silly rabbit, there is no such thing as a "middle class" in America.
We have poor, we have working class and we have wealthy.
400$ in groceries is more than enough lol what are you buyimg and where you shopping
Lol thatsore than enough and we eat good.
XAI94K is still extremely undervalued
$ 1000 a month car expenses, are you driving a car or flying a jet plane
Car payment, insurance, fuel, maintenance etcetera.
No money down, average credit, and you're looking at upwards of $6-700 just for a monthly lease payment. $1000 is a conservative average
Still dumb high 500 tops@@pensacola321
Bro go on the internet and look at car payments alone w the interest rates. Its insane. I have no interest in getting a new vehicle

Wheres the Canadian version of this? Lol

Another assumption you've made during your initial assessment is that you don't have kids. Otherwise, not a bad assessment
How come people are still BROKE after listening to you???
Everything you just said, we already KNOW, and it SOUNDS good, but you STIILL haven't shown people how to be rich or build wealth.
PAt least, people with jobs have money coming in, but if they listen to YOU, they STILL won't have anything.
