I realize this video is almost a year old but I was searching for content on Beautiful Feet curriculum. I found your channel and subscribed. This was excellent, most through review available and I am following your link to purchase. Thank you!!!
This was a wonderful “how to use this curriculum” video! Thank you so much for sharing your ideas! I would love to see what you do for each country! I love how you cut out the artworks for the matching game & found the Nat Geo videos, so many useful tools you shared! Thank you!!
This looks so fun Dina! I bet it meshes well with CC since it incorporates maps, music, and history. This seems like the perfect fit for your family to do as a group subject! 🤗💕
Love, love, love this video. You're such a fun creative mama! Thank you for sharing all your neat ideas to do alongside the lessons! I'm looking forward to trying this curriculum next year. The only issue I have with BFB is with The Story of Ping. I wish they would replace it with another non-problematic book.
This looks AMAZING!!!! We've used a lot of their books from their book lists for years but this is an excellent inside look at how it all works! LOVE!!!
You look so beautiful Dina!!! This curriculum looks awesome! I have been thinking about getting it for a while now, but I finally did after watching your video. We tried sonlight history and the books were way over my kiddos head. These books look age appropriate and I’m so excited. I got around the world part 1 and 2! Ty for sharing 🥰
Oh you are so sweet Dominique! I'm so happy this was helpful!!! We LOVE this curriculum and will probably do some units this summer. I hope y'all enjoy it as much as we have! ❤
Thanks for getting me excited about this again! I have Part 1 and kinda put it on the shelf for "later" and forgot about it. We will be pulling this out!! They also have a character book as well!
Thanks so much for sharing this walk through of how it works! This is really helpful for understanding how the curriculum works. It looks like a lot of fun to use!
What a great video! Thanks for sharing! I was trying to decide between this curriculum and Sonlight A. After watching your video I'm definitely getting the Beautiful Feet curriculum. 🙂
Thank you so so much for this review! New to your channel, a friend was telling me about this curriculum recently so I decided to look it up! I will have a third grade and first grade boys this fall and a toddler, do you feel this curriculum would also count for art or do you supplement something additional? I’m assuming you’d also need to supplement history? Always trying to find ways to keep things simple yet fun, I think this would be a great blend for us! Thanks so much!
We did their Geography part 1 last year and really enjoyed it. You can get the teacher guide digital so you can print the coloring pages. I did buy the physical book but decided to buy the digital too so I could print the pages instead of copying them. Such a great curriculum.
I guess im randomly asking but does any of you know of a way to log back into an Instagram account? I somehow lost my login password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me.
@Soren Langston thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
What age range is this for? I love the idea of this and the layout, and think it would be fun for my kindergartener but I also have a 5th and 7th grader.
Wow this was such an amazing review! It took lots of love and persistence to document this journey. Thank you! I have part one but haven't done it yet with my kindergartener but I think I'll start it this coming first grade. She's sort of a young and wiggly kinder so it was hard just getting her to do math and phonics
I love seeing this. We’re doing part 1 and 2 next year (seeing how much there is is making me rethink we can fit both in 😬). Realistically, did this continually take you a lot of extra time to find, prepare, and do everything? I want to do all the things and I’m not sure how you fit it all in with all your kids. We have 4 and I’ve felt like we’re treading water this year. You do such an amazing job!
I really like the visuals on the map that you displayed. Since this is a younger child’s study, I really feel that these graphics would help to engage their interest, and at the same time they are factual. 👍
Yes! I usually do 2 weeks per country. I loosely follow our Classical Conversations geography curriculum to know which country to do next. But you can just follow the list the way the book has them laid out.
Thanks for this! Do you think the curriculum would be enough with just the main core booklist and not the extras? We live in Asia and I don't think we can get so many extra books affordably. And we also don't have good libraries to source from.
When we do this we do it 5 days a week. We usually do it on little breaks we have during the year or over summer time. But you can fit it into any schedule. I can see doing it 2 or 3 times a week would work well. :)
@@PursuingPeace Dina I just want to say how grateful I am to have found you! Your calming and positive. I love that you interact. Looking forward to what's next. 💜 Blessings
Hi! Would it be feasable to do part 1 and part 2 in one year? We're just planning to do it next year before going back to Sonlight the following year, but I would love to do both parts.
@@PursuingPeace ok thank you! any chance you have a link for that box of pencil boxes you keep for your littles during morning basket? I think you said it was walmart maybe?
I'm new to homeschooling so there's so much that I'm learning myself. I hadn't checked out this curriculum yet. Thanks for explaining everything so detailed. What ages is it meant for? I have little ones like you so I just want to get an idea
I have done something similar and I think you can tailor this to whatever age your child is, for younger children I would do simple activities like colouring the maps, starting to identify letters of the places and just keeping it simple . For older children you can do more in depth activities. This is a very customizable idea :)
@@letshomeschooltogether8007 yes I am! oh goodness not too many people in my circles use this method. I love this method. I kind of have this strategy while homeschooling my kids but I mix in other things as well from other curriculums, but our core is about building our own library curriculum.

Hi! I actually have never done 5 in a row. I have the teacher's guide for it and have read through it though. I would say it's very similar but there are more picture books in this one and for me it was easier to have it broken down into daily lessons. But the idea is very similar. 😊❤
Sorry it's taken me so long to reply! They actually like both pretty equally. So it really just comes down to which countries you want to study first. :)

Oh a cheese tasting!!! How fun! Great way to drive the learning home!! Crepes too? go Dina!!

Question. Do you do 2 weeks for each country ? How do I plan it out ahead of time as far as scheduling in weeks.
