Just getting back into the game after about a 3 year hiatus. Celio was making great content even back then, but this is a whole nother level, keep up the great work!
Arceus is probably the best deck for beginners as they are super simple. I like comboing it with alliance vulpix from silver tempest and flying pikachu
Bro I can't stress that enough but your videos are so incredibly well designed. Thanks Celio for all the effort on bringing quality information for new and old players. Cheers from Brazil and hope your channel grows into what it deserves to be, cause there's a lot of good content here!
Great video, I've been out of Pokémon for quite a while now, and getting back in has been rather intimidating (i haven't played since the GX era) this was refreshing since i dont have to figure anything out anymore
I just got some components for Goodra VSTAR today. It's a fun deck but has a miserable time if it doesn't set up in time against hyper aggressive decks like Miraidon and Charizard. Definitely need to look into Miraidon and Palkia as well, given their League Battle decks containing a lot of what you need.
Palkia needs innovation to be competitive. Right now it gets stomped by most of the best decks. I love Palkia and I play it, but the current build isn't good enough right now
@@hiddenmosaic Yeah it just gets wrecked by everything unless it's combined with Chien Pao. The Miraidon matchup is painful, and everything else just sets up way too fast for it to keep up. Especially Lost Zone decks and Charizard.
@@shinyocelot04archive I think chien pao is part of the problem. Low HP 2 prizer. Instead of playing straightforward Palkia I think if you're going to play it you need to play Tech and Control tools
What do you think of the Seaking 151 + Finneon deck? I’ve found it to be really strong so far. If you start out with a halfway decent hand, you can set up really quick, and it functions similar to Chien-Pao EX but without needing your energy accelerator to evolve, AND it’s all single prizers which lets it trade favorably with all the 2 prize decks, and it can fairly reliably one shot 240 HP and under mons, and one shot even a 330 HP Charizard ex with a little bit of luck or 2 shot it with ease
Re: the fusion strike section, going by recent tournament results / matchups on limitless, isn't Mew / Genesect DTE considered more successful than Mew Fusion with Meloetta? I could be wrong but thought so.
Great production value, I hope it pays off. I wonder what toolbox cards are going to be added/taken out of LZ to compete with the new deck meta, I've already seen some advocating for Shaymin V as a charizard counterpick.
I guess V pokemons doesnt want to go out of rotation just yet. Vance and his Vmax mew give the last fight in the worlds and the Lost Box are making their way to glory before the next rotation kicks in
I didn’t see tinkaton and Alakazam but I’ve used it to beat all these decks online. I have lost to them too but I don’t see any other way besides copying their deck like most do.
Going into paradox rift, do we have any idea how well charizard ex decks are going to fait? I want to start collecting the cards for an zard ex decks but want to make sure the money i spend for it will be worth it
It should be noted that Alakazam, while not quite a tier 1/2 deck in its own right, hard counters both fusion strike and almost all lost zone variants. With lost-tina I think it's near an auto-loss forgoing some incredible luck. Something to be said about countering the best decks in the metagame.
You do realize the both Mew VMAX and Giratina V have Shred attacks, right? Plus, both decks run heavy Lure cards like Escape Rope and Boss. Alakazam is a meme still.
@@GreenMonkeySam Tina needs 3 energy to shred. When you can't use comfey all game because of klefki, it's impossible to get enough cards into the LZ to trigger mirage gate. Klef is also completely immune to cramorant. And using boss means you can't colress that turn, which is a massive setback. Escape rope isn't a viable alternative because it's rare a zam deck won't also bench two klefki at a time. Mew has a better matchup, but if you go second and the opponent starts klefki, you're in a lot of trouble. The heart and soul of the deck is genesect, and it's completely shut off by klef. You can still win by retreating around and leveraging your massive HP, but it can very easily brick your start. Mew is really hurt by its lack of non-ability draw. Boss works here, but you're significantly less likely to find it if you can't draw into it.
@@zuhayrc I've beaten many Alakazam on the ladder, so it's not the "auto-loss" you say it is. Of course each player has counter plays, but overall it's not that difficult of a matchup, honestly. Even slowly building up in the back is a viable strategy. Once I have a shred attack ready to go, the Alakazam player is behind
@@GreenMonkeySam it's a high variance game; your personal experience isn't necessarily indicative of the average game. On the other hand, while I may have only played 10 or so games against lost zone variants with this deck, I've only lost one or two games. Never lost against tina cause even if they try building in the back, they get one shot if they have at least 4 Pokemon benched and you boss' orders to hit them with a surprise choice band boosted mind jack
I am a beginner, so I shouldn't start with Gardevoir, but it's my favourite pokémon. I am building two other decks, Miraidon Flaaffy and meowscarada. None of them are complete because of card market, though, but I'm holding out hope. I should definitely consider buying from the potown store.
Can somebody explain why the charizard decks run lost vaccuum? There's even a deck with lost vaccuum that doesnt have any way of getting cards in the lost zone? im super confused on this
Your editor must be extremely handsome to make this kind of videos 😂
If this is your work, you do good works. 😊

This was the goal!
Love this video and how you covered both meta and non-meta decks! Great video for pros and players who are just getting into the game!

Very glad you thought so!
Great video very informative. As someone who's still pretty new to pokemon TCG this video is very valuable thank you!
Thank you great video. I'm getting back in the game. Haven't played in over 8 years.
Welcome back!
I love charizard ex it is my favourite deck and I’m so glad to see it doing well❤

Do not forget about gabors worlds top 39 list of miraidon eleki.
It got no popularity while it performed very well through day one and two

Me showing up to tournaments with Empoleon V/Urshifu Rapid Strike deck to shut down lost zone and mareep decks

No idea since paradox rift isn’t even fully revealed yet. But more often than not, a good deck won’t become bad just because of one new set.
@@CeliosNetwork alright, thank you!

Is it possible to get charizard ex for less the 20$ a card
That single handedly makes the deck cost like 60-70$ more

I play Giratina and feels favourable
None of these decks give me trouble like freaking solrock lunatone decks. Those games are so grindy and tiresome.
