Just got one of these. I'm in Canada too. No extra surprises with shipping for me. So far the watch is great, but the magnetic band sucks. The watch fell off 6 times the first day!
I'm surprised you received your purchase, I'm still waiting for mine to go through fulfillment it's been 2 weeks??? The Phone number they give doesn't work, and I've written 8 emails, no response??? If you were myself, what route would you take to get your money back??? Much Appreciated
Mine took a very long time but did arrive. It gets tied up in customs because it comes via dhl from china. They eventually did answer my messages about the extra charge for customs and handling but I don’t expect a refund. I tried to cancel just after ordering, but no response. I did some Reddit research and discovered I could have just bought the same watch off Ali express myself for a fraction of the price. All this being said, the watch works fine but is expensive.

I bought a replacement black metal clasp band from Temu for like $10 . Works great. I trashed the magnetic band after it fell off 20 times
