大御所、巨星、カリスマ・・。最上級の表現が似合うバンド、ＧＩＳＭ、そして横山さん。
邦楽ハードコア、いや世界のハードコアの頂点に立つと言っても決して過言ではない、ＧＩＳＭの横山さんが逝ってしまった・・・。強烈にショックです。
８０年代ハードコアの最先端を走るとともに、他を寄せ付けない圧倒的な存在感、そしてデスボイスの先駆けと言っていい横山氏のヴォーカルと、ランディ氏の哀愁のあるギターソロ。本当にカッコよかった！！
モラルや法律なんて関係ない、全てを超越する存在でした。
ミチロウ氏とは一線を画していましたが、私はどちらからも強烈なインパクトを受けました、今でも・・。
スターリンは曲や歌詞は他を圧倒するものがありますが、それでもGISMと比較するとインパクトが弱い（GISMは何歌ってるか解らんけど、それを差し引いても）。
高校時代から聴いていましたので、３５年以上になりますが、横山さんの存在感、そしてGISMの曲は年を重ねるごとに見事に作り込まれていることが良く分かりました。
沢山の外国のバンドがコピーしていたのは納得できます。
