- Hey guys, in this video, Xplorer will be exploring (naturally) a huge battery site that is located on the beaches near Calais/Dunkirk in France. This is the first part of the explore as it was so huge, hope you guys enjoy the video 👍

What kind of videos do you prefer - longer videos like this with more action camera shots showing us as we discover each new location, or shorter, more to-the-point videos with more cinematic shots and pieces to camera?
I’d say shorter, there’s more impact, although as amazing as the video is, most people would get bored after 10mins
Thanks for the feedback Nam :)
NAM BUI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
RP Mundo May I ask what it is about Xplorer that you like? We are trying to gather feedback for future videos (although the next two months worth of content has already been filmed so the feedback won’t be taken on board until then).
Love the action shots of you guys so dont stop, and your cinematic shots are really stunning.. your study and knowledge is great of these places.so if it takes longer go for it and keep amazing us.
Great explore fascinating history
Cheers mate, glad you enjoyed the video 👍
Very cool.. would have been nice to see pictures of what the battery originally looked like if they exist. Keep up the great work..
Thanks for watching mate, that would be cool, but we never even considered that tbh.
Very good video to add to the ones b4 it. Shame all the paint on the walls
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed. We also thought it was a shame that the walls had been painted so much, but I must admit, a small handful of the graffiti pieces were quite good. Again, glad you enjoyed 👍
your videos just keep getting better!!!
Cheers mate, glad you enjoyed 👍
Positive Vibrational energy to you Guys
Good one boys keep it up
Cheers mate, glad you enjoyed 👍
Blessings xoxo 💋
I feel Energies Of Places protect yourself with Sage smoke 💨
I'd say that the rooms with white paint where the officers sat around, and above in the ugly sections is where the troops fought and died.
Well said. So sad that so many soldiers lost their lives during this period, whilst the officers and generals remained largely safe and sound. Thanks for watching :-)
So easy to bring a Sage stick with You Energies can stick to your Aura
Peace ✌️ at all costs
My Fiancé lives in Ramsgate Kent in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧

vilified by graffiti - Too bad
It is rather unfortunate...
you probably shouldn't use black bars for cinematic shots. Although it does slightly give it a more film look, I'd say bun it.
Ok, we'll keep that in mind for future videos. Thanks for watching 👍
I actually like the slightly distancing feel of the letterboxing in those bits and then the smooth shift out to a different aspect ratio to effectively bring you in closer for the more personal footage.
Ok thanks for the information mate, again, after the France videos have finished we'll take this into account when arranging a new format of video
I think the problem is the transition of of the bars moving down from normal to the 2.35:1 letterboxing. Maybe I'll try not using the transition and just cutting directly between the two types of shots
I like the transition; it takes you smoothly from the cinematic scene-setting into the more personal sections where the viewer is effectively exploring with you. It's quite subtle but a simple cut from one style to the other would be a bit abrupt.
