Hi! I'm a 1970 MEC (now MIT) pass-out. Correction for your video - D Blocks were built in 1964-65.
Oh wow. I've seen photos of MIT from 1950s where it showed Dblock. Probably some other older hostel haha

As I am considering it as my Backup college if I don't get into Tier 1 Colleges 😀....
Placements of MIT manipal are not good that good . If you are getting CSE in VIT vellore, SRM chennai, KIIT, BITS any campus etc. then go for these universities. JIIT Noida is also a better option than MIT Manipal.
@@kingdon4367 actually not true they have had the best placement this season and last season . In fact the mech guys is srm have not had good season contrary to this comment .

Can you make a video on study tips for different subjects of the first year btech?
Haha I don't think it needs a video per se. If ur in Chem Cycle study well because BET and PSUC won't be easy to clear. Physics cycle is slightly more chilled out but stressful nonetheless. Do previous year papers before writing exams because you're just out of school and might not know what will come in the exam. Theoretical Questions are super limited and mostly include application based ones. So prepare well

So there's no gym on campus? Marena is the only option?
There is a Men's and Ladies Gym in D Block. But they're quite small and have limited equipment. Marena has a maaaive Gym in Comparison. Especially condisdering Marena is 15k per year v/s MIT D Block gym which will also cost around 6k per year. There are a few hostel blocks with Gyms inside them as well tho

@@rishijoshi6350 if you can afford the fees and all,it's worth it be it any stream.Dont get demotivated by other's word. Life isn't limited to just cs or it.Theres btech data science, automobile,aeronautic and many other interesting fields which are great in manipal.
