    Supported by Iran and Russia. This is insane. Insane

      A lot of people were wrong about Russia & Iran they spread propaganda in target societies that they are the resistance to their unknown fears while mass murdering the same people alongside it. Both Iran & Russia pay good money to influencers to change the narrative in their favor. Iran invests huge amounts of money to fake news agencies like the mint press news.

    Family's Struggles (02:06-03:48)
    Hind cares for her son Husam's children after his arrest and his wife’s death.
    Her younger son Ahmad was also imprisoned and later freed.
    The family endures the trauma of arbitrary arrests and systemic injustice under Assad's rule.

    God 4 days out of that awful prison and being dragged back their by your family. So terrible. Very moving seeing the grim reality of the prison system made real though...

    Unfortunately, these prisoners bodies were freed but many of their minds are still in prison! They really need psychological support.

    This is a seeminglu excellent documentary news piece, but after CNN's sloppy, amateurish and bogus prisoner release "coverage" I question how well fed this recently released prisoner looks, and the fact that the reporter and camera crew could walk right into is almost untouched dorm style prison cubicle. My heart goes out to all those suffering brutal injustice, and I hope that their stories can be told with honesty and respect.

      they said since 2021 he was held in the white prison which has better living conditions compared to the red prison, thats probably why he doesn't look nearly as bad as the prisoners from the other building. this is also a guy with an actual family there who can vouch for him, not just a random guy by himself in a cell that would normally hold 25 people, found days after the prison was already liberated.

    The people must realize that there is freedom because there is still chaos in the country. They have no idea what the new government will REALLY be like or if the civil war will continue. I hope the new leader El Julani is changed as he says but Syria does NOT have any history of stability.

      @roja7426 2 дні тому +3

      If she went around showing the letter in hoping to find her son and somehow he will magically be released then she is only thinking of herself. Not only because of her the guard died but then she heard nothing of her son. All she should have done was secretly receiving the letters for her peace of mind. SMH

      @@roja7426 yes I agree... So
      selfish... Very passionate about finding her own son... But just like a parrot tattled of someone else's son's name... That someone else's son was tortured to death.... What a show off she is..!

      That part ruined my day and the interviewer bottled it not asking details of how other prison guards learnt about it.
      That’s someone’s life she ruined and someone who was acting in kindness when he easily could’ve chose not to…
      If any of us learns more about the guard or how his murderer knew about it, should share more info.
      I’m still livid.
