My mouse was scrolling sometimes up when I was scrolling down. It helped, and now when i scroll down it scrolls down but its a little bit noisy when i scroll up, all in all it worked (y) Thank you
2018. My 747 mouse still works, since only one button almost does not work at the scroll. A little bit of a lazy thing to replace the button itself. And so, a pretty mouse.
worked for me, removing contact wheel was bit tricky- it popped out hit the ceiling but lucky landed just by my hand (otherwise I could loose it in my messy room:) ) I have scribe the contacts with screwdriver and bend them out a bit. Don't start the work without good tweezers
This is completely wrong and unnecessary. You don't need to disassemble the scroll potentiometer at all. You just need one squirt of contact spray, or if you don't have that you can use a little medicine benzine or 70% ethanol solution. Only one tiny drop on it, roll the wheel vigorously up and down a couple of times and you'll have that scroll wheel working as usuall again.

Have trouble understanding your text, are you pointing out what's wrong or what should be done?
Thank you very much!

Perhaps so. If it helps.
