Beroch
Beroch is a small village in Tehsil Rustam District Mardan Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Geographically, Beroch is situated in the hilly area of Sudham valley. The village is surrounded by Sakra range of mountains. This small village is also famous for its high quality of Malta though out Pakistan and exported abroad. Beroch is an archaeological site, coins of Indo Scythians (35 BC) found here along with early Kushan and Kushan dynasty. Later Kushan coins Kedarites, 1st Vasudeva gold coins and Mangol coins also discovered in Beroch. Mahmood Ghaznavi and Muhammad Bin Saam coins of early Islamic periods are also discovered here. 700 hundreds coins of Muhammad Bin Saam found by a person in a pot. So Beroch has a rich history of thousands years and cultural heritage with a strong sense of community. In terms of infrastructure, there is only one primary school for boys and there is no health facility. In Beroch there is a beautiful seasonal waterfall and during rainy season it become more beautiful and people from all the district visit here. The surrounding rocks and greenery added to the waterfall’s natural beauty. Beroch waterfall’s gentle spray cooled the air, a refreshing treat. The waterfall’s beauty is a sight to behold, a true wonder of nature. Overall, Beroch village in Tehsil Rustam is a quaint and charming destination, offering a glimpse into rural Pakistan’s simplicity and beauty. So Beroch is a picnic as well as an archaeological site.
