This is great! I’ve been wrestling with the passenger side visor for years! Finally replaced both male and female clips that fail (visor falls) if it ever gets too hot inside the car.
Visors look great, Kent! I'm lucky and my '85 380sl has the upgraded plastic visors with lighted vanity mirrors that weren't available for earlier models, so no problems for me with the infamous puffy visors that you just replaced. On a side note, I would love to know how you recolored the "pinkomino" leather and carpets. Maybe a new on-demand video for that?
Great timing. We also have an 83 380. We wanted to get new visors too. We need the front seats recovered but we have no idea what color it is. How do we know what leather to get?
I always wondered about the visors being made so crummy ,and the little plastic tabs that broke and cost like $55 to replace , ,and why did they use a single length timing chain on U S models that failed to soon

Just google the subject. There is lots of info on line how to determine the color code of your interior.

I am sure the engineers thought the flux capacitor would compensate for any potential problems.
where do you get the new clips for the visors?! my passenger side visor always falls down because the clip broke!
