Title : Entering into God’s Rest
ヘブル人への手紙4:1-9
1 こういうわけで、私たちは恐れる心を持とうではありませんか。神の安息に入るための約束がまだ残っているのに、あなたがたのうちのだれかが、そこに入れなかったということのないようにしましょう。
2というのも、私たちにも良い知らせが伝えられていて、あの人たちと同じなのです。けれども彼らには、聞いたみことばが益となりませんでした。みことばが、聞いた人たちに信仰によって結びつけられなかったからです。
3 信じた私たちは安息に入るのですが、
　　「わたしは怒りをもって誓った。
　　『彼らは決して、わたしの安息に入れない』」
と神が言われたとおりなのです。もっとも、世界の基が据えられたときから、みわざはすでに成し遂げられています。
4なぜなら、神は第七日について、あるところで「そして神は、第七日に、すべてのわざを終えて休まれた」と言われ、
5 そのうえで、この箇所で、「彼らは決して、わたしの安息に入れない」と言われたからです。
6ですから、その安息に入る人々がまだ残っていて、また、以前に良い知らせを聞いた人々が不従順のゆえに入れなかったので、
7 神は再び、ある日を「今日」と定め、長い年月の後、前に言われたのと同じように、ダビデを通して、
　　「今日、もし御声を聞くなら、
　　あなたがたの心を頑なにしてはならない」
と語られたのです。
8もしヨシュアが彼らに安息を与えたのであれば、神はその後に別の日のことを話されることはなかったでしょう。
9したがって、安息日の休みは、神の民のためにまだ残されています。
Hebrews 4:1-9
1 Therefore, we must fear if, while a promise remains of entering His rest, any one of you may seem to have come short of it.
2 For indeed we have had good news preached to us, just as they also did; but the word they heard did not benefit them, because they were not united with those who listened with faith.
3 For we who have believed enter that rest, just as He has said,
“As I swore in My anger,
They certainly shall not enter My rest,”
although His works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4 For He has said somewhere concerning the seventh day: “And God rested on the seventh day from all His works”;
5 and again in this passage, “They certainly shall not enter My rest.”
6 Therefore, since it remains for some to enter it, and those who previously had good news preached to them failed to enter because of disobedience,
7 He again sets a certain day, “Today,” saying through David after so long a time just as has been said before,
“Today if you hear His voice,
Do not harden your hearts.”
8 For if Joshua had given them rest, He would not have spoken of another day after that.
9 Consequently, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God.
