Hi, I'm Louise! I started this channel in 2009 after readers of my blog (also called Sprinkle of Glitter) suggested I give UA-cam a try. I was instantly hooked and have found my internet playground on here. I make videos about beauty & fashion, positive living, motherhood, lifestyle and occasionally have special guests (friends, kittens or my sweet Daughters Darcy, 8 and Pearl, 1). I went to centerparcs every year from being 18 months old to 24 year old & I worked there in the activity den for 18 months too! Such a special place for me 🙂

I went to Center Parcs for the first time last month and loved it! ❤️I agree that the food options were great - in four days I went to an Italian place, South American place, an American Diner restaurant, had pub food, a Chinese takeaway, did home cooking after buying bits from the supermarket, went to the Pancake house... fab!
I used to go to centerparcs every year as a kid with our family friends from 2000-2013, i can’t explain how much your videos make me nostalgic and so happy to see other people making the same memories: ps you should try Center parks in the Netherlands ❤️

@@Louisepentland CP in the Netherlands are FAB-U-LOUS. Stayed in one a few years ago. Try it. Sooo much cheaper!

Hubby at I have had many holidays at CP. We got engaged there and had our honeymoon there too. So much to do.
One tip, if you go to b and m or similar, you can buy the proper logs for the fire at 1/4 of the price.

We used to go to Center Parcs when my daughter was very young. We always went (about 12 times) with the same friends. Always had an amazing times and we all still remember the happy times there. Xx
This got me sooooo excited!✨My sister and I are coming back to the UK for a holiday next year (we emigrated to Australia in 2007) and we’ve just booked our centre parcs trip! We used to go all the time when we were kids, it’s such a special place to us. We can’t wait. This video couldn’t have come at a better time! ♥️ xxx

We went to centre Parcs in longford a few weeks back here in Ireland and was honestly such an amazing holiday! My girls preferred it to our hol in France last year at a campsite... that's saying something! And the changing room where the best - better than any aqua centre ive been too ! Was deadly the two way door ! And so so clean and wrist band system for lockers was top notch and great for people like me who doesn't remember where my locker was 🤣It's so lovely to have here in Ireland. Was really magical 😊 thanks for lovely video x

Used to take my daughters to centre parcs, we loved it! Was saying the other day to my daughters, that we should all go again (with their partners) , an extended family trip! Yay! 😀. I think it’s orienteering 😂

We have been going to Center Parcs since I was little and we now go around twice a year with our own two littlies. I had my hen do at Elveden in 2011! Some of my favourite memories over the years have been made at CP!

Love this! I found doing a shop beforehand so so much cheaper than the supermarket on site. But that's just a wee thing 😊

Love this! I’m a centre parcs goer yearly! Just wanted to say that you can’t book the Pancake House, you just have to turn up (Elveden Forrest anyway) xx
Remember, if you book another stay within 28 days after returning you get £25 worth of vouchers and their lowest price guarantee (if the price goes down they'll refund the difference). I also buy restaurant vouchers in advance using quidco or other cashback schemes. There's also a Sainsburys 10 minutes from Elveden so you can get all your fresh food at a reasonable price! I think I'll make my own tips video actually; I'm a bit obsessed with CP. Great video Louise, thanks!
I went to center parcs for the first time, when my friend suggested it I have to say I was a bit secptical being 23 ... I have to say something that I hadn’t considered was that even though your in center parcs doesn’t mean you can’t go out on day trips as if it was just another holiday rental... also to go to the supermarket for the big shop as on site is expensive... although it would be silly to stay at a center parcs for the price it is and not use any of the features so of course we went swimming almost every day, arcades, bowling, spa and it was so convenient not having to find a restaurant and get a taxi or find a takeaway near by ... I still had a fab time and was totally proved wrong when I thought it would be mostly for kids !!! Also day trips may be cheaper than on site activities, but I know if I was a kid I wouldn’t have wanted to go on a day trip I would have begged for the climbing wall !!!

I worked at Centre Parcs before I went to uni and this has made me miss it so much, it was so nice seeing all the families having so much fun. You should definitely book a trip to the whinfell forest centre parcs, it is so beautiful and close to the lake district! 😊

@@amyharvs8230 The pool is so much warmer at Whinfel, especially the spa pool.
I have been to Center Parcs Longleat many times, the last being this August. My friend and I went to the spa and then spent the whole rest of the day enjoying what's on offer. If you have booked a spa trip, you're allowed to spend the rest of your day there and just blend if with the rest of the guests. xx
I worked at center parcs for 6 and a half years, this made me so nostalgic!
I’m going to Sherwood in June and I’m really excited :) even though it’s about 98 days or something away I cannot wait
Can I just point out that the tip on the supermarket etc is great only if you can afford it as the prices are more expensive than a normal supermarket. My mum booked our holidays in the cheapest time of year(January), planned our meals for while we were there & did a weekly shop at asda before we went, we spent our time going swimming, bike riding and on walks & had one meal out the whole time we were there. I think it's important to make this known as a lot of people can't afford the whole shabang, you really don't need to do the activities etc xx
Never been to centre parks but always have a look at booking it after you’ve been, maybe in the spring, didn’t know you could do some much for free :)

Also Centerparks is definitely not free - its pretty expensive to stay there, and then when you're there you can go on walks etc. or pay extra for further activities.

Thank you for all those tips. I would love to go to Centre Parcs but it seems so expensive. It would have to be a ‘grown up’ experience as my children are young adults now.

Love these tips! A good chunk of my family (14 people) go to Center Parcs Longlete every year in June/July.
I would say that the on site supermarket isn't great for us as it's so expensive and we usually do take food shopping with us. We find that doing a meal plan helps alot on food waste!

Which pancake house did you go to where it was booked? It’s one of the few rests restaurants where you turn up, you can’t book tables at the Pancake house🤔🥞

I love center Parcs but it’s a little pricey if you don’t want to fill the lodge. Good video though :) activities like the crazy golf and badminton are quite good value as you don’t have an instructor. Hiring a court is a good way to have fun without spending loads.

Longleat Centre Parcs is great but you definitely need a lock for your own bike. It has quite a reputation for people entering the park and stealing things (particularly around Christmas)
this is probably a really weird question but I am looking at booking centre parcs for my husbands 40th next year, can anyone tell me how doggy it is? i am absolutely terrified of dogs and know they are allowed but is there designated areas where they can't go? I literally cant find this information anywhere
I went with my two dogs ... But in longford one in Ireland . And I never had my dogs in the main centre as our cabin was beside a dog run so took them there 3 times a day to do their business! And seen a few on my walk there and back as think the dog cabins are beside each other so most of the cabins around had dogs... But when I was anywhere else and in main centre we very seldom seen a dog. Hope this helps. And dogs very strictly have to be on leads. Much love to u from Ireland

Another top tip: if you have a booking for 6 people but say only going as a 4, put your friends names down who live close by for the other 2 spaces and they can come for the day for free as they are classed as guests 😁

And hard to get food
And needs prep to make the most of it
But there’s a pool .... 😂
We used their childcare service last time we went and our little boy loved it, well worth it if you can't take relatives along for free childminding 😊
