love it - stayed there decades ago so long ago that back then the "goody-goody" was doing a huge business - parts of it were already closed off such as the ballroom
I stayed here three years ago. It is gorgeous inside and the rooms are large and have charm! The problem I see there is the lack of a swimming pool or outdoor deck. Take the small parking lot and put a pool there. The empty back lot could be for parking or strike a deal with the parking lot across the street. For me, it was a perfect hotel for one night or the weekend to see a concert at Amelia Arena. Uber & Lyft are convenient & inexpensive to take to the Arena & the hotel was very affordable ( September). I tried to book in February but the rate was double of what I paid in September. Also there aren’t many places to dine by the Floridian. But the grandeur is memorable! 😊
