Perfection! I love these ladies. I even got to sing with them in London at a fundraiser for Kate’s cancer fund. I was in a choir and sang two songs with about 10 others. We sang Proserpina and Fairytaleof NY!
Just lovely! I first heard the Goebel Reeves' song Hobo's Lullaby from PeteSeeger and have sung it to many kids and adults over the past 60 years. What a pile of talent came out of that family!
Magical Ladies / Sisters ~ Go go go Forever ladies ! ~ YOU ARE ALL VERY GIFTED AND BEAUTIFUL FOLK. AS ARE THE WHOLE OF THE WAINWRIGHT CLAN ! ~ XXXXX ~♡♡~
SO beautiful, I've watched this like 20 times now. I can't get over their voices together, stunning. I love all the Wainwright siblings but I had no idea they did an album together. I hope they do many more.
We love these beautiful women in New Zealand. Great to hear different harmonies with the first 2 songs from the original singers. Acoustic guitars are made for these voices. thank you both.
Love the sub-title: "El Condo Pasa". :) (As a song credit pedant, let me point out that "El Condor Pasa" was written by Daniel Alomía Robles in 1913 - he probably could use the mention way more than translator Simon.) Back at WCAS in Cambridge in the Seventies we used to play Loudon, the McGarrigle Sisters, the Roches and (bien sur) Mr. Leonard Cohen. Don't think anyone ever considered the mix and match possibilities. (Wonder how long it will take Rufus and Lorca's contribution to the lineage to put out her own record?)
germanes, teniu un potencial brutal!! m'encanten les vostres cançons de bressol, la versió del "condor pasa" i el tema del resident evil VII!!! fareu coses al·lucinants, bona feina!! love it seguiu així!!
all three songs (and 2 ladies) are beautifully fine, such tender voices, strong too - and, folks, go after the original recording of father Loudon's "Lullaby". It's a bit much more sharp, edgy - I never felt it was about a child nursing to sleep - AT ALL - no... much more about putting an end to such matrimonial/relational/recurring/endless/counter effective Dispute. (when The Lady does not know to stop anymore- like some child... errrr... girjjl )
Imagine if you could just appreciate their voices and guitar playing without giving unsolicited advice to 2 queens who are superior to you in every way.
@@stereotypea123 Its ok this person is just projecting their own insecurities. He must not know what women look like without the mask or something... That and .. well.. if anyone needs the makeup... -_- some people you do kinda want to see LESS of.

I was at the Freight concert that night. "Lullabye" was a big hit. :D
Wainwright/McGarrigle/Roche - the family that just keeps giving. Lovely.

Oh, to be able to reveal these particular parental sentiments through the mutual musical support and talent of these two lovely sisters.

Rufus, Martha & Lucy are the perfect combo from that whole dynasty. The best family blend I’ve ever heard. I hope they do a R,M&L album.

The composer's original arrangement of "El Condor Pasa":

Paul Simon certainly can’t take credit for this song!
Love this album so much!
LOVE
OMG i had no idea these two were 1/2 sisters...Marthas 1/2 sister s mom was the daughter of a Roche sister Suzzy....HOW EFFIN' COOL IS THAT??
Yeah yeah yeah! They are both so lovely. I wish they would make more albums together!
Really good!

I can not believe how much Lucy looks like Rufus
I thought that TOO but always think he looks so much like his mom & they have different moms! How does that work, lol??
Lucy looks exactly like her mother SUZZY
The title is El Condor Pasa, not "El Condo Pasa"! The condo should pass but in this case it is a bird. Who is in charge of titles?

The one thumbs down had to of been a misclick
A bit of makeup wouldn't have gone amiss ladies!!
Why? The music is what counts!

Are you kidding me?! You are pathetic.
The music is more important than the image...
