I'm Rachel, a mom of three and the oldest in a family of 8 kids. I'm a second-generation homeschooler who is passionate about education. I'm originally from Michigan, but am living overseas. My two young boys and teaching homeschool lessons to my youngest sisters keep me busy, but I make time for writing and for making UA-cam videos, too! On this channel, you can expect videos featuring books and homeschool curriculum, homeschool tips for hard days, our journey raising bilingual kids, and vlogs about the intentional adventure that our homeschool lifestyle allows! I just finished reading the Boxcar Children to my 2nd grader and preschooler. This was the first chapter book that really caught my 4 year old's attention, which thrilled me!
That's one I want to do soon!

Our September we have been in a good groove oursleves. Very nice to be there!
So, our read alouds have been on the older side, but I have been introducing my kids to Diana Wynne Jones, one of my favorites. 😊
Definitely appreciating a calm month and time to just be in the "groove" over here.
With my teenage daughter we are bilingual and multilingual as she’s doing art in Japanese!!! It’s awesome that ur husband is doing better!!! I agree the homeschool life is awesome!!! We love MWC!!! It’s different when lessons come from other ppl including siblings!!! We review German often as my teenagers forget it and now my younger kids and adopted teenagers need it!!! It’s awesome that ur son is improving in his Spanish!!! We quit sonlight science 550 but I think we got a lot from it!!! We did everything but one book!!! We heard stuff at church about the author!!! I love being asked to re read books!!! We still love our sonlight books and my teenager daughter loves the sonlight F books!!! We read Star Wars books!!!
Yes, review is often needed with building strong language skills. Glad you're enjoying the homeschool adventure!

We are struggling with our homeschooling this year. I'm still trying to find our homeschool plan because of my TBI from the car accident about 10 months ago.
I'm so sorry that the recovery from the car accident has been so slow. That is very difficult to deal with. I hope your family is able to find a plan that will work.
